This Chardonnay is a reflection of the unique terroir of our Waitaki site. 

Lifted aromatics with tropical fruit, citrus and white flowers. The palate is chalky, with balanced fresh acidity and concentrated flavours of toasted hazelnut, tropical fruits and toasted oak. 

Elegant Chablis-like Chardonnay with creamy notes and balancing acidity due to the cool climate of Central Otago's Inlet Vineyard in Bannockburn. Grapes in this wine were picked in two lots with the first pressed directly to barrel and the second lot left overnight then whole bunch pressed to barrel where they were fermented with wild yeasts and stirred weekly to encourage flavour integration from lees (yeast cells from fermentation) contact. The wine was aged in French oak, just 16% of it new and then bottled unfined but filtered.

Clay Creek Vineyards is part of a family owned winery which has been growing grapes since 1924. Sustainable farming practices are central to the family's firmly held belief that they are responsible for tending the earth using environmentally sensitive farming techniques.

The vineyards are predominantly located in the Lodi region of California wine country. Positioned between San Francisco Bay and the Sierra Nevada mountain range, the Lodi appellation, while relatively far inland, is able to maintain a classic Mediterranean climate featuring warm, sunny days and cool evenings.

Chardonnay lovers will adore this wine, which is new in store and fresh off the boat from California where the warm dry climate provides ideal growing conditions for grapes to develop flavours of peachy stone fruit, apricot and tropical notes. A balance of fresh acidity adds a lingering finish to this full bodied dry wine.

Whitehaven Wines began life in 1994 as a romantic business for a couple of corporate escapees, Sue and Greg White, who had given up life in the rat race of Auckland for another kind of life aboard their yacht. When sailing around the country, they took shelter in the Marlborough Sounds from Pacific storms and fell in love with the region. An easy thing to do when harbouring in the spectacularly pristine waters of the Sounds. They decided to settle there on terra firma once more and try their hands at wine production, hiring a winemaker and beginning a business which has now been around for 26 years. Greg has sadly passed away now, leaving a legacy as well as his wife and daughter, Sam, to run the winery. Their winemaker is Peter Jackson.

Chardonnay is what made Gisborne famous and one sip of this and you’ll see why. Complex with layered citrus- and stone fruit aromas, lifted by savoury yeast and nutty oak characters, the palate sensation is both fresh and textured. The wine delivers Gisborne’s bold elegance with a long and seamless finish. Ripe and weighty fruit flavours without the heat of excess alcohol. Big wine, beautiful wine, with a taste that will linger for ages.

Chardonnay Barrel Gin is a smooth and super sippable gin. Aged in French Oak ex-Chardonnay barrels, the palate is light and creamy, finishing with lingering spice and fresh citrus peel. As soon as you open the bottle, you'll get great aromas of preserved lemon, ginger, light vanilla and cinnamon.

Louis Jadot owns one of the largest holdings of top level vineyards in Burgunday so has access to outstanding grapes in good volumes, so wines like this lively fresh young Chardonnay benefit hugely. This wine is a regional blend from Burgundy, made from grapes grown in both the Cotes d’Or and Macon, which combine to add flesh, weight and depth along with purity of acidity for freshness. 

Flavoursome, creamy smooth Chardonnay with a medium body and textural lively succulence made with grapes grown south of Martinborough village. 

The wine was made under the Dublin Street Wine brand banner by Eva and Ross McKay, who purchased the grapes for this smooth, citrusy wine. Fresh zesty flavours on the front palate add length of flavour and a long finish to this creamy Chardonnay. 

Nga Waka Chardonnay is one of the biggest selling wines at this Martinborough winery cellar door, thanks to its creamy smooth body, balanced by freshness and vibrant citrus flavour notes. 

This wine offers stunning value for money, delivering a full body, bone dry flavours and a long, refreshing finish, thanks to the bright balanced acidity provided from the cool nights in the Martinborough region.

Rich layers of concentrated fruit held in check by crisp but balanced acidity, which marries beautifully with its lemon zest flavours and creamy texture. Premier Cru Chablis is one of the great wines of the world and this one comes from the relatively new Domaine Pattes Loup, a 24 hectare certified organic vineyard owned by Thomas Pico in the village of Courgis in Burgundy's northern outpost.  

Pico was inspired by his grape growing grandfather "Not to make the same mistakes that I did, which led him to stop spraying his vines with herbicides when he returned to Courgis in 2004 after several years working in Nuits St George. First he stopped spraying herbicides, then he began to transition to organic certification and he has since forged a name synonymous with high quality and integrity every step of the way. The name Pattes Loup means wolf's paws and is named after the block of vineyard he inherited from his family.

Trinity Hill - The structure has a tight shape with the finesse and concentration that are hallmarks of Trinity Hill Chardonnay. It displays delicacy but richness and the beautifully linear acidity makes it a fantastic match with food.

An excellent partner with white meats and seafood dishes.

Ripe citrus aromas of navel orange and peach, a medley of nougat and vanilla notes to add to the complexity and interest on the nose. A silky attack with sweet fruit flavours of peach and navel orange in the rich textural mid palate and with hints of nougat and vanilla balanced with fine oak and lingering citrus finish. - Paritua ALCOHOL: 13.5%

The Crater Rim Waipara Valley Chardonnay is a youthful, estate-grown wine, hand-picked and fermented and lees-aged for 11 months in French oak barriques (partly new). This wine is a bright, light yellow-green, with a fragrant, citrusy bouquet. The palate is mouth-filling, with good intensity of grapefruit-like flavours, slightly buttery and toasty.
