Beach Hoist started as a collaboration with Barley Browns from Oregon , taking the Pacific North West style of IPA and using NZ Hops. It has now taken on a life of it's own.

McLeod's Scottish Wee Heavy or Strong Scotch Ale incorporates their house English ale yeast and rich, caramel-laden malts. A touch of rye rounds out the native Horopito which lends soft, evergreen notes to the finish. McLeod's flagship beer and trophy winner for Best International Lager at the 2017 Brewers' Guild of New Zealand Awards, this is a proper Lager matured for a full six weeks before release. Expect a sparkling light-gold colour with ripe melon and stone fruit aromas. Crisp but layered with ‘biscuity’ malt, it finishes dry with balanced bitterness.

North End Ancestral Range Inspired by our ancestors who travelled across the seas to forge a new life in this land we set about brewing a full bodied strong London style bitter. We combined New Zealand Ale Malt, two different crystal malts , a little wheat , tangy English Goldings and Fuggels hops with our fruity English Ale yeast to create a sociable, sessionable taste of the old country .

4.7% ABV.

This beer is credited for being one of the most popular Munich lagers. Moreover, our brewmasters were among the first to bring Munich lager beer to the Bavarian taps. The recipe for success remains: A perfect balance of malty character and the light bitterness of hops.

4.9% ABV

Clear, crisp and full of bite. This west coast IPA is like carving fresh lines in an empty pool. The classic combo of “C” hops and Simcoe create layers of citrus, pine and resin, all balanced on a solid malt backbone, with just the right amount of weight underfoot. A throwback to when IPAs were clear, hoppy and straight to the point. No haze, no gimmicks, just a clean pivot back to where IPA all began.
