Our over achieving low alcohol beer.

Much like the unpredictable nature of beer, New Zealand winters are a fickle thing. Snow, ice, rock, grass and everything in between. We have brewed this beer for all those out there who brave those conditions and love to enjoy a beer while doing so!

Light in body, big in personality and low in alcohol. What more could a tussock basher ask for?

North End - Just because something is small doesn't mean it won't pack a punch.  The little, delicate, dried flowers of the hibiscus plant are a case in point as they lend a pungent, fruity character, and deep pink colour when added to beer.  The same can be said of Petit Luna.  Hibiscus, Kaffir lime, spicy Belgian yeast and lactic tartness all brew up to a big refreshing blast of flavour fired by a light, low alcoholic beer.

4.0% - Fruited Peach Lager

A blissful blend of fruit and beer. Super smooth, easy drinking lager, cut with New Zealand peach for a mouth watering fresh fruit flavour. Pure refreshment. Pure Bliss.

For those who want more beer-per-beer, Tallboy is here. This lofty classic IPA stands tall, showcasing a blend of American and New Zealand hops on the shoulders of a crisp and quenching malt base. You know, sometimes, more is more.

5.5% ABV | 500mL

Our Hippy Berliner was such a success that we ebbed to consumer demand and brewed a special edition with the addition of cooling cucumber. Bursting with sweet cucumber notes, balanced by lemon peel and tropical fruits. 

On the palate this beer is puckering, but very refreshing, full of cucumber, citrus and balanced by light hopping, finishing very clean. 

Cool as a cucumber, dude.

4.5% ABV

For this beer we used Nelson Sauvin, Mosaic, Citra and Galaxy hops.
Imagine a big juicy bowl of Kiwi Fruit, strawberry, blueberry,peach, orange and pear, jam it all in a blender and call it an IPA - it’s our hazy hop salad.

6% ABV.

Hazewired
New Zealand Hazy IPA
7.0% ABV

Following the footsteps of trailblazing older brother Hopwired, Hazewired is a beer set to forge its own path. Packed with a plethora of the best NZ Hops, we’ve borrowed Nelson Sauvin and Motueka from Hopwired. An injection of ultra-modern varieties Nectaron and Superdelic makes for one big, juicy Hazy IPA, loaded with notes of tropical mango, candied pineapple and passionfruit. An ode to the past, forged in the present.

Classic Pilsner yeast profile. Dank kiwi hop flavour from Riwaka and a touch of tropical from Nelson Sauvin. Smooth honey malt profile with clean bitterness.

5.1% ABV.

Keeping it clean is the general idea behind this 5.5% West Coast Pilsner. Fistfuls of Australian Eclipse and a touch of Cryo pop bestow citrus and pine character with a dusting of tropical fruit. A light malt base and some snappy carbonation make for a refreshing break from all that housework you've been doing.

YELLOWHAMMER

Bright and lively like a parrot, but small and ubiquitous like a sparrow, the Yellowhammer adds a flash of colour and a musical chirp to open spaces all over the country. The way it does a lot with just a little inspires our smooth and refreshing hazy pale ale, streaked with the striking tropical notes of Strata hops.

4.8% ABV.

An award-winning international-style Pale Ale, hoppy with a smooth malty sweetness and balanced bitterness. We use a blend of New Zealand and Australian hops to create a tropical fruit bowl of flavour and aromas. Expect a taste of Paradise in every can.

Steinlager Tokyo Dry is a refreshing, crisp Japanese style lager.

BIRDSEYE

Our feathered friends see the world differently. Through birds’ eyes, things might look almost psychedelic to us, with heightened colours and fresh hues forming a surprising new spectrum. This hazy, citrus and stonefruit accented IPA with a mellow, soft and silky texture gives a similarly refreshing change of perspective.

5.8% ABV.

Our Mermaid's Mirth is a bit of a local legend here in Mt Maunganui. Generously packed with American hops where Citra, Simcoe, and Chinook deliver a citrusy flavour and aroma, supported by a clean and crispy body.

Exceptionally easy drinking for 6% she may be legendary but comes with a cautionary tale...

6.0% ABV.
