The Ratu Dark Rum carries a savoury, smoky oak aroma. Rich sweetness lingers on the tongue with dashes of caramel, vanilla and tea leaves. Aged for five years in charred oak barrels.

The Helmsman white is usually aged for over a year It is aged in stainless steel tanks and plain oak casks, which leads to a light blonde colour and sweet flavour.

The original Coruba Dark Rum, inspired by the dark Planter’s style rums for which Jamaica is known, is a blend of pot and column still rums that has been aged for at least two years in American oak barrels. The result is an authentic rum that’s dark by nature but light in spirit, offering an approachability ideal for a traditional Planter’s Punch or any cocktail worthy of a dark rum float.  Joining the original Dark Rum, are Coruba Spiced Rum and Coruba Coconut Rum, both made with 100% natural flavors and crafted with sunset cocktails in mind.

BOTANICALS:

TASTING NOTES:
Aroma: Bright citrus at first with a noticeable but well integrated spicy oakiness. Less herbal than the silver.

With time the earthier notes come through and a definite roasted coffee note.
Palate: The wood sugars have played their part and have married beautifully with the warm orange and oak. Baking spices dominate the mid palate with a pleasing silky mouth feel. This develops into coffee, chocolate and generally ruminess that combine with wood tannins to give richness and structure. Pleasant lingering heat on finish.

APPEARANCE:
Light gold, similar to a Fino Sherry or an aged Chardonnay.

Santisima Trinidad de Cuba seven year old Rum is a bright amber in colour with sweet aromas of raisins, dried grapes and oak. On the palate there is slight but perceptible sweetness, combined with hints of vanilla and dried sweet almonds.

The Santisima range is a blend of distilled cane sugar (or agricole) and rum distilled and aged from molasses. The rums are aged in ex-bourbon barrels and then hand selected and blended across different ages to create the different styles. The fifteen year old is big and round with flavours and aromas of nuts, stewed fruits and molasses.

Dictador 12 Years Rum is made from the fermentation of virgin sugar cane honey distilled partly in copper alembic and partly in steel continuous column, to achieve a medium body rum.

Soft and round feel in the mouth with caramel, cocoa, and honey light coffee flavours.

With its roots going back to 1788, Smith & Cross and its partners became prominent handlers of Jamaica rum, with extensive cellars along the banks of The River Thames. Throughout the 19th century and into the early 20th century, Jamaica Rum became revered for its deep, full flavours and pleasing aromas. This rum represents the distinctively flavourful and aromatic style that made Jamaican rum famous.

Very aromatic and complex with notes of pipe tobacco, dark chocolate, winter spices, hints of dark fruit, as well as fried banana, a little suggestion of foam banana sweets too!
The palate is thick and rich, massive spice notes carrying forth suggestions of dark fruit, prune, plum wine, vanilla, cedar, unlit cigars, calves leather and musty orange peel.
Long and very warming on the finish, with notes of caramel and pepper on the tail.

BlackSpot Rum has bountiful, deep flavour neat or on the rocks.  Mixes superbly with cocktails, refreshes over ice with ginger beer or ale and a squeeze of lime or try BlackSpot and coconut water.

Bumbu cream is a perfect blend of Bumbu Rum, select spices, and rich, decadent, real dairy cream. Its an irresistible creation that is perfect chilled, straight, on the rocks, or in a cocktail. Bumbu cream shares the same heritage that has made Bumbu the worlds favorite craft rum maker.

A blend of rums aged 7 to 23 years old from Bacardi's premium Fagundo label, named after the founder of the company. It has been finished for at least a month in Sherry casks.

Nose: Dried fruit, dried pineapple, banana, walnut, treacle, vanilla and oak.

Palate: More relaxed, toffee'd and spiced. Molasses, pepper, allspice.

Finish: Spicy, rich oak and espresso.
