The clue is in the name really. Cask Strength Release No. 2 is bottled straight from the cask, without adding water to reduce alcohol content, to deliver an extraordinary depth, complexity and balance of flavours.

Casks have a huge influence on the flavour, character and natural colour of our whisky as it matures, so our Cask Strength series presents our whisky in its purest form, giving you the freedom to enjoy our whisky, your way. Discover the taste and strength that suits your palate by experimenting with the amount of water you add to reach your optimum flavour.

For this second release in the Cask Strength series, Gordon Motion, our Master Whisky Maker, selected mainly sherry seasoned European and American oak casks, along with just a few ex-bourbon casks. You’ll find aromas of summer rose, ripe pear and fresh coconut gathering on a wave of aromatic peat smoke, followed by a wild harmony of sweet and spicy flavours - poached pear and rich almond cake, a drizzle of cloudy honey and a twist of salty liquorice. There’s the suggestion of toasted oak and intriguing notes of orchard fruits, black pepper and sweet aniseed linger, in a satisfyingly long finish. In a word (or three) we call it ‘smoky peppered praline’.

We’ve been crafting our award-winning whisky at the Highland Park Distillery in Kirkwall, Orkney, since 1798. A rich expression of the Jura distillery character with some added spice and earthiness from maturation in ex-Bourbon barrels and American rye whiskey casks. Jura’s hallmark citrus and minerality are tempered by baking spices, ginger and toasted nuts, leading to a finish filled with creamy vanilla and hints of soft fruit

Matured in some of the finest casks available to the whisky industry, this cask strength 100% Sherry matured Single Malt is both luxurious and elegant with layers of rich sweet spice and oak. Our Master Distiller has worked with producers in some of the most prestigious Sherry Bodegas in Jerez, Spain to select only the best quality casks to be filled with our precious spirit.

This bottling is a return to the style of some of the earliest Arran Single Malt, which was mostly matured in Sherry Casks. During a tasting, this expression is the perfect partner to our Quarter Cask 'The Bothy' as it showcases the skill and expertise of our Master Distiller in his work with different wood types and supreme cask selection.

Douglas Laing's Big Peat is a feisty Islay character with a sweet side. This is a small batch bottling, without colouring or chill-filtration and only contains Islay Malt Whiskies, including Ardbeg, Caol Ila, Bowmore and (even the elusive) Port Ellen, to name but a few! 

The Macallan Sherry Oak 18 Years Old, 2023 Release forms part of Macallan's Sherry Oak Collection which features a series of single malt whiskies matured in hand-picked sherry seasoned oak casks from Jerez for richness and complexity. A full bodied palate of mature oak, ginger and raisin flavours is complimented by a light mahogany natural colour.

Tomatin 8yo First Fill Bourbon & Re-charred Hogsheads - ‘The Beehive’

Nose
Fruity, fresh and honeyed, with fresh apple juice, beeswax, vanilla custard and buttered toast.

Taste
Like the nose, fresh and fruity rhubarb, blackberry and malt loaf, with mouth-coating waxy, blueberry jam undertones.

Finish
White and milk chocolate, gooseberries and cream.

Part of the Exceptional Cask Series, this Highland single malt Scotch whisky from Aberfeldy has been aged for 19 years. With an oloroso sherry finish, this small batch expression of 2,256 bottles was bottled at 43% and boasts plenty of nutty fruit character.

A 15 year old single malt from Highland distillery Aberfeldy, part of its Red Wine Cask Collection. This limited edition bottling has been finished in cabernet sauvignon wine casks from the Napa Valley in California, aka 'wine country'. Beautifully rich, with plenty of sweet red fruit notes making their way from the wood to the whisky.

Matured for at least ten years, predominantly in American oak sherry seasoned casks, this expression is bottled at a strength of 40% abv as the signature expression of the distillery's make

43% ABV

This warm mahogany whisky has an aroma of a depth complex fragrances from apples, vanilla, and ripe fruit and a whiff of orange zest on the nose and the palate is creamy with caramel, fruit, citrus, and a touch of dark chocolate. The finish is satisfyingly long.

Smooth enough to sip, sweet enough to mix, Deanston Kentucky Cask Single Malt Whisky is reminiscent of a quick chew of butter toffee, then a slug of American cream soda. Kentucky Cask is matured in hand-selected 1st & 2nd fill ex-bourbon casks, all hand-selected by our Master Blender Julieann Fernandez to create this versatile single malt. Neat or mixed, enjoy any damn way you please! Over ice, it may go a little cloudy. Don't panic, our soft-filtration process leaves in flavours, that harsher filtration may remove, leaving it jam-packed with sweet & smooth character.

Glenlivet is one of those distilleries whose malts just keep improving with age. This superb 21yo is an elegant, intricate, sophisticated malt, presented in a very smart wooden box - just don't drop it on your foot.

From the distillery.

This exquisite single malt has been crafted from a combination of unpeated and peated spirit and four cask matured for at least twenty one years in bourbon barrels, sherry casks, virgin oak casks and Bordeaux red wine casks. During long maturation Benriach’s sweet Speyside smoke mellows and integrates with the fruit, malt and oak. After twenty one years, rich layering develops into an elegant honey smoke, enriched through multi-layered cask maturation. The whisky from each cask type, imbued with particular flavour characteristics, is then expertly married together to create a rich and elegant single malt, layered with lush orchard fruit and toasted pine wood with a honey smoke finish. All in perfect balance.

NATURAL CASK-IMPARTED COLOUR     ABV 46%

Wolfburn Distillery's fourth small-batch release, named Batch 155. Consisting of just 5300 bottles in total, it is the first whisky from Wolfburn to have been matured in one type of cask (first-fill ex-bourbon barrels for close to five years) then finished in another (six months in port hogsheads). 

The results are superb: a smooth, rich, easy drinking whisky, rich in colour and with a depth of sweet flavours from the port influence. Like previous Wolfburn small-batch releases, Batch 155 was named after the warehouse in which the casks were matured (Warehouse 1), and the specific row in which the casks were located (row 55).
