Located in the heart of Portugal, the Douro Valley is one of the world?s oldest protected wine regions, established in 1756. With the country?s highest wine classification as a Denomina??o de Origem Controlada (DOC), this historic region is a significant producer of robust, characterful red wines. The barriques selected have imparted richness of both colour and flavour to our Speyside malt, offering decadent layers of dried stone fruits and delicate hints of warming spice.

The Sauvignon Blanc Cask Edition Whiskey is a work by the Speyside distillery Tamnavulin. Speyside is the perfect location for whiskey production: there is a unique microclimate and the fertile farmland is ideal for growing grain. The Scottish distillery's delicate whiskey first rested in former bourbon barrels and was then refined in wine barrels that were previously filled with the finest Sauvignon Blanc.

A gorgeous copper glow and a magnificent taste. On the nose, dark, nutty layers of Spanish oak make way for the enticing scent of creamy vanilla and melting honeycomb. The first sip transports drinkers to a summer orchard, where sharp berries dance alongside sweet, candied lemon peel. The experience is completed with the long and elegant Tamdhu signature sherry oak finish, with hints of figs lingering on the palate

This Aberlour has been finished in a first fill oloroso butt and bottled by independent bottler James Eadie.

Glen Moray 18 years old is overflowing with spice, oaky intensity and caramelised fruit, this single malt whisky is the pride and joy of our Heritage Collection. Aged entirely in American oak casks over 18 long years for a rare intensity, it is the ultimate reflection of our traditional Speyside craft. By using first-fill casks that have not been used for single malt previously, we enhance our spirit with the wood's maximum flavours of vanilla, oak and toffee.

Named for Captain William who was informed of his inheritance of The Glenlivet distillery while deployed in France during WW1, this new whisky is fittingly finished in ex-cognac casks. Sweet and fruity to start, it builds to honeyed and apricot jam notes, with cinnamon bread and a subtle spicy liqourice note. The palate is succulent, with mandarins, ripe poached pears and flavours of chocolate coated raisins from the cognac casks.

An interesting view of a typically heavier Speyside dram, this expression from Benromach has been triple distilled, a style very rarely seen in Scotch Whisky. Matured entirely in ex-bourbon casks filled in 2011, the nose offers a basket of tropical fruits, with fresh vanilla pods and baked biscuits. The palate brings a trip to the orchard, with ripe green apples and pears in the spotlight, backed by touches of banana and clover honey. Soft smoke and citrus leave you wanting more...

Chosen from casks that were laid down in 2012, this brand new 'Cuvee' expression sees GlenAllachie's whisky given a secondary maturation in hand-chosen French and Italian wine casks. The distillery's spirit, with heather honeyed tones is joined by pastel fruits and red berries, hints of ginger and caramel biscuits. A burst of orchard fruit and citrus can be found, with plum syrup and more berries in the finish.

A single malt with a bold, tropical twist. A portion of this whisky is finished in barrels that previously held Caribbean rum - the result is a well balanced and exceptionally smooth whisky. Single malt, meet summer.

Family-run indie bottler Blackadder has played a significant role in championing cask-strength single malts to whisky lovers since 1995. This mature release from Tamdhu highlights the very best from the distillery. In the glass you'll find notes of marasca cherry, orange zest, honey-nut bar and baking spices.

To craft The GlenAllachie Wine Cask Series, Master Blender Billy Walker first expertly matured our spirit in the finest American oak ex-Bourbon barrels, before transferring the whisky into hand-selected European wine barriques for secondary aging. Billy added a distinctive twist to this release by ultimately blending four exceptional wine cask finishes into one unique expression: The Cuvée Wine Cask Finish.

A French term, ‘Cuvée’ is used in the wine sector to reference a blend that typically comprises more than one variety of grape. Likewise, our 9-year-old Cuvée is a marriage of spirit from several fine wine casks sourced from the world-renowned regions of Bordeaux, Languedoc and Valpolicella.

The character development of each individual barrique was carefully monitored, before the whiskies were expertly blended together by Billy. The resulting golden liquid offers up elegant stone fruits, hints of toasted almonds and zesty orange peel on the palate.

This limited expression is bottled unchilfiltered for flavour with no added colouring at 48% ABV.
