The Macallan Sherry Oak 18 Years Old, 2023 Release forms part of Macallan's Sherry Oak Collection which features a series of single malt whiskies matured in hand-picked sherry seasoned oak casks from Jerez for richness and complexity. A full bodied palate of mature oak, ginger and raisin flavours is complimented by a light mahogany natural colour.

Bumbu XO is truly a thing of beauty. A smooth, rich and complex handcrafted rum created from scratch by Bumbu's master distiller. Bumbu XO is aged up to 18 years in bourbon barrels and finished in Spanish white oak sherry casks to achieve a beautifully balanced, endlessly sippable rum. This special release is distilled and aged in Panama, where we created a truly unique – and unquestionably superior – rum. Aromas of toffee, toasted oak, and vanilla give way to orange zest, peppery spice and even a hint of coffee on the palate. A wonderfully engaging rum that encourages repeat visits, Bumbu XO is perfect for traditional rum cocktails – and perhaps even better on its own, neat or with a single ice cube.

But they occur, and they are the ones who will take your place, and in your honour that same melody, that same music, becomes a masterpiece of man’s ingenuity, capable of transcending the future and moving closer to those indescribable moments of infinity and eternity.
In the same way this blend was born with the precise intent of enabling those who are getting to know us what past we have been capable of bringing about and at the same time to remind those who know us well who we are now and that this is what we wish to be. 

Listen: the backing track of an iconic Speyside distillery marries up perfectly with a great grain, arranging an aromatic bouquet worthy of a solo in the spotlight. A slow ouverture, but now bursts of ripe fruit, hay, lawn and petrichor. In the mouth majestic, warm and harmonious: we are back among the flavours of grandma’s kitchen: her sweet baking, her slightly, perfectly burnt mostaccioli biscuits.

Ten labels would not be sufficient. Protagoras, Socrates, Anaxagoras, and all the great figures of ancient Greece were orchestrated by Pericles, the city's architect par excellence. They created the perfect polis that inspired love from every corner of the known world, although it also provoked hate from some. May Zeus grant me the opportunity to take vengeance upon the Athenians! With these words, Darius ordered one of his servants to repeat the phrase "Master, remember Athens" three times during each banquet.

Here we present a blend of single malt and grain whiskies aged in sherry oak casks, originating from various city-states of Scotland and their distilleries. We have chosen the title "Architectus" to provoke those who dare to taste this blend, marked by impertinence and hubris. It is agile, simple, and clear, crafted by carefully selecting the finest elements. Upon nosing, it delivers a shocking aroma, fruity and delicate. On the palate, it offers a magnificent combination of flowers, sweet fruits, dried fruits, toasted nuts, cereals, and sweet spices. The fragrance of the Scottish fields gracefully merges with the mischievous sherry notes, creating a seamless and majestic experience that unfolds towards the southern horizon. Enhanced by a gentle summer glow, we find ourselves immersed in its captivating aroma as the sun slowly descends beyond the hills. Who knows how long it will take for such a remarkable alignment of eminent humans to occur again? It seems that even two thousand years have not been enough.

An unusual young man appeared at Verrocchio's workshop one day in 1469, expressing his desire to learn and assist. Teacher and student relationships have always influenced emotions, passion, literature, and more. Aristotle and Alexander serve as a sufficient example. To educate means to bring forth. In today's information-saturated world, amidst all the noise, such a connection becomes vital. We embark on a new journey as we focus on nurturing young emerging talents, whom we shall refer to as apprentices. After exploring various options, we finally settled on Speyside. The aim is to grasp, learn, comprehend, understand, and acquire the essence of what stimulates the human intellect. Every dedicated student cherishes their mentor, but it should be reciprocated. This young spirit exhibits vibrant and fresh notes, with a malty introduction accompanied by hints of green apple, honey, yellow stone fruit, and a touch of citrus. It possesses liveliness and unpredictability, requiring time to settle down and allow the olfactory impressions to solidify upon savoring. Returning to Verrocchio, after witnessing his apprentice Leonardo's paintings, he never touched a brush again.

The Hellyers Road 12 Year Old Single Malt Whisky is aged in American white Oak (ex-Bourbon casks) and was first aged statement expression from Hellyers Road Distillery. First released in 2014, it quickly became Australia’s highest-selling, locally crafted single malts.

Highlighting distinctive signature citrus nuances, akin to the most unique distilleries of Scotland, it is fair to say, that no Australian distillery is comparative. The style is a subtle and delicate - the most welcoming whisky for any new enthusiasts

We finished our red-wine-barrel-aged Australian single malt whisky in heavily peated whisky-drenched barrels from Islay, Scotland. And for the first time, you’ll taste coastal, peaty, smoky flavour in our signature fruit-forward whisky.

AROMA / Tropical fruits, toasted oak and a hint of sweet peat.

PALATE / Ripe red berries, coastal peat smoke, yellow peach and cocoa nibs.

FINISH / Oak slowly dries the palate, with a long peated finish.

COLOUR / Sunset gold

At the top of the House of Hazelwood range sits the 25 Year Old expression, presented beautifully in a bottle and box inspired by 1920s Art Deco design.

Nose: Pancakes and golden syrup, lime, oak furniture and oodles of vanilla.

Palate: Burnt sugar, cut grass, honey'd cereals. A few pinches of exotic spice.

Finish: Drying and quite oak-y.

Chosen from casks that were laid down in 2012, this brand new 'Cuvee' expression sees GlenAllachie's whisky given a secondary maturation in hand-chosen French and Italian wine casks. The distillery's spirit, with heather honeyed tones is joined by pastel fruits and red berries, hints of ginger and caramel biscuits. A burst of orchard fruit and citrus can be found, with plum syrup and more berries in the finish.

Family-run indie bottler Blackadder has played a significant role in championing cask-strength single malts to whisky lovers since 1995. This mature release from Tamdhu highlights the very best from the distillery. In the glass you'll find notes of marasca cherry, orange zest, honey-nut bar and baking spices.

The Sauvignon Blanc Cask Edition Whiskey is a work by the Speyside distillery Tamnavulin. Speyside is the perfect location for whiskey production: there is a unique microclimate and the fertile farmland is ideal for growing grain. The Scottish distillery's delicate whiskey first rested in former bourbon barrels and was then refined in wine barrels that were previously filled with the finest Sauvignon Blanc.

To craft The GlenAllachie Wine Cask Series, Master Blender Billy Walker first expertly matured our spirit in the finest American oak ex-Bourbon barrels, before transferring the whisky into hand-selected European wine barriques for secondary aging. Billy added a distinctive twist to this release by ultimately blending four exceptional wine cask finishes into one unique expression: The Cuvée Wine Cask Finish.

A French term, ‘Cuvée’ is used in the wine sector to reference a blend that typically comprises more than one variety of grape. Likewise, our 9-year-old Cuvée is a marriage of spirit from several fine wine casks sourced from the world-renowned regions of Bordeaux, Languedoc and Valpolicella.

The character development of each individual barrique was carefully monitored, before the whiskies were expertly blended together by Billy. The resulting golden liquid offers up elegant stone fruits, hints of toasted almonds and zesty orange peel on the palate.

This limited expression is bottled unchilfiltered for flavour with no added colouring at 48% ABV.
