Unit price perThis lovely smooth Chardonnay is made with grapes grown on the Castello della Sala Estate, which surrounds the medieval castle at Castello della Sala in the region of Umbria, which borders Tuscany.
The vineyards here are planted in Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, which both grow well in the clay soils here.
The 2019 Bramìto Chardonnay is characterized by delicate white flower notes followed by light sensations of citrus fruit. The palate is crisp, fresh and full bodied with lovely mineral notes which provide a long finish with flavours of ripe peach and notes of soft creaminess.
This wine is sealed with a screwcap; a modern touch used on many wines from Marchese Antinori.

Unit price per“An even split of upper and lower Yarra fruit. Whole-bunched pressed and wild fermented in 15% new French puncheons. Around 5% mlf. A light, bright green gold. Pure fruited with an attractive nose of just ripened orchard and stone fruits, pink grapefruit and orange blossom. A hint of matchstick and just-baked ginger snaps. Concentrated and lithe at the same time, Giant Step’s calling card is just as good, if not better than the super 2021 release.” – Phillip Rich, Halliday Wine Companion
“A blend of the individual vineyard releases – Sexton, Tarraford, Applejack, Primavera and Wombat Creek – with a little more input besides. It gets “the Rolls Royce treatment” and then it’s blended to become this. Grilled almonds and peaches with wet stones and runs of citrus. Beautiful (creamy) texture, flavour and composure. The elegance of this, the exotic wet stone notes, the smoky push on the finish. It’s all pretty much into wow territory. This is a gorgeous release, essence of chardonnay, scores schmores, buy and drink.” – Campbell Mattinson, The Wine Front
Winemaking Notes: The Chardonnay grapes are chilled overnight before they are whole bunch pressed the following morning. The juice is immediately transferred into 500L French oak puncheons. 15% of the oak is new, while the remaining 85% is seasoned. The juice is fermented naturally using indigenous yeast over 10 days, finishing with lots of stirring at the end of ferment. Around 10% of the batches go through malolactic fermentation. The wines are then sulphured and kept on lees in barrel until October, when they are blended and bottled.

We have 8 vineyards in the best and most representative wine areas, Globalgap and Good Manufacturing certified, allowing us to have lines with specific characteristics of each region.
Tasting Notes
The aromas and flavors of fresh fruit such as apple, pear, and peach are amalgamated with mineral touches and orange peel. French oak adds notes of caramel and honey. It is a long-lasting wine in the mouth.

Unit price perThe fruit for the Rosso & Bianco Chardonnay is picked based on flavor ripeness and acidity. It is then harvested in the cool of night and then delivered to the winery to be pressed into fermentation tanks. The juice is fermented in 100% stainless steel tanks to preserve the fruit’s flavors and aromas.
Rosso & Bianco Chardonnay offers the light, crisp character of freshly picked fruit. By fermenting in stainless steel rather than oak, the varietal’s fragrance is presented in its natural state, uninfluenced by wood or the spice notes that barrels create. 100% fermented and aged in stainless steel.
Food Pairing: This technique gives the wine a lighter texture, making it food friendly and delicious when paired with shellfish, mild semi-soft cheeses, and desserts.
