It is a blending of Calvados aged a minimum of 15 years. In fact, it contains percentages of older Calvados that gives it all its nobleness.

It lets in the mouth a subtle taste of apple that gradually gives way to the refined alliances of the tannin of old Calvados. It is perfect harmony between the apple and the wood, with underlying aromas. The Calvados of all the nice moments.

Elspeth is Mills Reef?s top tier range, produced from their vineyards in the Gimblett Gravels, Hawke?s Bay. This Syrah is intensely concentrated and complex, displaying luscious boysenberry, white pepper spice and liquorice notes.

Amrut Distilleries recently launched an umbrella brand, the Single Malts of India, to showcase the hidden gem malts of India. Neidhal is described as a single malt eponymously sourced from a Neidhal or coastal region and is said to exhibit traits that uniquely spring from the locale. 

Tasting notes make mention of tropical fruits, vanilla punctuated by soft phenols and above all sea salt on the nose. On the palate, it is fruit cocktail and mesmerising phenols with a touch of iodine. The middle ground is an essay in chewability and a finish that is phenolic with a touch of sweet vanilla.

Benromach Cara Gold Malt is a limited release made using a combination of Cara Gold malted barley and our standard lightly peated malt. Matured in first-fill bourbon barrels, it offers perfumed and tropical fruit notes, leading to pepper and toasted malt with a hint of butterscotch, and a vibrant, sweet smoke finish.

An intriguing and perfectly balanced blend of spices enhances the full bodied, malty character that New Zealand native Rewarewa honey is known for. A truly heavenly combination.

This very popular 'Project Starward' was re-released in March 2021. It begins with their award winning Solera single malt, aged in Apera barrels and culminates in a collaboration with Boatrocker Brewery. The result delivers ginger, orange and dark chocolate on the nose, while the palate sees a strong spicy ginger, fresh vanilla and pineapple character balanced by sweet raisins and figs. In short, it's a big whisky with a warming mouthfeel.

A decadent single-malt whisky. Starward have taken inspiration from Tawny #1, and fully matured this spirit in both fresh and charred, Tawny fortified wine casks. To mix things up, they threw in some puncheon and hogshead barrels for fun, which allowed vibrant tropical flavours to come through. 

Vibrant and indulgent. Expect welcoming flavours of dried fruits, toasted oak and brown sugar. As warm and comforting as Nan?s fruit cake.

Irresistible to sip neat. Strong enough to stand in a cocktail.

This whisky is a story of provenance. A single malt shaped by an icon of Australian red wine. Starward Octave Barrels is a new distinctly Australian whisky that celebrates the very best of Australian red wine and whisky craftmanship. When a whisky speaks to Australia?s wine heritage and progressive Australian whisky craft, you know it will be special. Bringing the bold flavour from Yalumba?s old vine Shiraz, Starward Octave Barrels is an intense, deliciously different whisky. This special Starward Projects release has been aged in Yalumba?s The Octavius Shiraz 100L octave-sized barrels. Maturing in these hand-coopered vessels has led to intense interaction between wood and whisky. The elegant flavours of this distinctive Barossa old vine shiraz has left its mark. It?s a full-bodied and plump expression. Aromas of raisin, ripe peach and caramel meld with red and dark forest fruit characters. Toasty oak and marshmallow have been extracted from the oak barrel staves, leaving a long and rich finish.

This Pinot Noir is one of our favourites and comes from Wellington's closest wine region, the Wairarapa; Gladstone, to be precise, where winemaker Karl Johner has what you might call a foot in both camps. The German born winemaker produces wine at his winery in Gladstone in the New Zealand summer. In our winter, he hot foots it back to Germany to work harvest at his winery there.

The wines from both places are classic, elegant expressions of aromatic grape varieties; high points are Pinot Noir, Riesling and Pinot Gris; made in a range of styles.

This Pinot Noir is a dry, medium bodied, earthy and smooth. Bottled unfined and unfiltered. This wine ticks the vegan friendly box.

This beer started out as two seperate barrels that we filled in 2018. Three years later we blended the two barrels together before separating the blend out into two different finishing barrels. This part of the blend was finished in an american oak barrel with 250g/L blueberries and raspberries.

We finished our red-wine-barrel-aged Australian single malt whisky in heavily peated whisky-drenched barrels from Islay, Scotland. And for the first time, you?ll taste coastal, peaty, smoky flavour in our signature fruit-forward whisky.

AROMA / Tropical fruits, toasted oak and a hint of sweet peat.

PALATE / Ripe red berries, coastal peat smoke, yellow peach and cocoa nibs.

FINISH / Oak slowly dries the palate, with a long peated finish.
