The Tullibardine 15 Year Old has arrived! The Highland distillery reopened in 2003, and this is one of the most well-aged releases to date. Seeing as it was matured entirely in first-fill bourbon casks, there's lots of creamy, honeyed influence to be found in this one.
Nose: Barley sugar and delicate florals, with apple crumble and custard.
Palate: Lots of honeyed malt, with creamy porridge and berry jam along with fresh sponge cake.
Finish: Caramelised nuts, spicy oak and mango curd.
To craft The GlenAllachie Wine Cask Series, Master Blender Billy Walker first expertly matured our spirit in the finest American oak ex-Bourbon barrels, before transferring the whisky into hand-selected European wine barriques for secondary aging. Billy added a distinctive twist to this release by ultimately blending four exceptional wine cask finishes into one unique expression: The Cuvée Wine Cask Finish.
A French term, ‘Cuvée’ is used in the wine sector to reference a blend that typically comprises more than one variety of grape. Likewise, our 9-year-old Cuvée is a marriage of spirit from several fine wine casks sourced from the world-renowned regions of Bordeaux, Languedoc and Valpolicella.
The character development of each individual barrique was carefully monitored, before the whiskies were expertly blended together by Billy. The resulting golden liquid offers up elegant stone fruits, hints of toasted almonds and zesty orange peel on the palate.
This limited expression is bottled unchilfiltered for flavour with no added colouring at 48% ABV.

Talisker, one of the most remote distilleries in the world, is situated on the storm lashed Isle of Skye and has a colourful history dating back to 1830. Denounced by the local clergy, praised by none other than Robert Louis Stevenson and even suffering a still-room fire in 1960, Talisker has survived and today produces some of the smoothest and characterful malts in Scotland. The 30 Year Old is sweet and mild to begin, with some acidity and saltiness. Extraordinary flavour development then envelopes the palate that becomes dry and minerally with a mild dusting of ground white pepper.

Organic single malt from the brilliant Benromach Distillery, which was distilled back in 2011 and left to mature in virgin American oak casks until 2019. They use organically certified Scottish barley for this expression. An innovative, delicious tipple, this one.
Nose: Toasty oak with warming hints of cinnamon and ginger, balanced by juicy apricot and white grape.
Palate: Banana bread and coffee, with continued ginger heat. Layers of runny caramel as it develops.
Finish: Subtly peppery, with just a whisper of floral smoke lingering.
One of four official bottlings from the Craigellachie distillery released in 2014. A stunning 23 year old with plenty of bold fruit, complex herbs, refined oak and a touch of sulphur.
Nose: Lemon, orange and pineapple up front, backed up by warm oak and golden barley. Oak notes become increasingly toasty as it goes on.
Palate: Salted caramel, creamy vanilla and more orange zest. Cinnamon, nutmeg and a subtle whiff of sulphur give it plenty of depth.
Finish: The sulphur lasts, but it's not overpowering - the sweet spices bring balance to the long finish.

Unit price perAs a 4 year old, little wood is evident in its flavour. Instead it shows its cereal roots and a foxy quality from its wild yeast strain. This gives Jim Beam White a uniqueflavour not apparent in other Beam products. The colour is a nice, balanced amber, more red than orange. The nose is slightly perfumy. The mouth feel is slightly syrupy.source: The Bourbon Country Reader

Unit price perThe evocatively named Central Otago winery, Wooing Tree, is as famous for its pink wines as for its full bodied Pinot Noirs. Tickled Pink is a light rosé, made 100% from Pinot Noir as a sweet wine. Flavours of strawberries, red berries and honey are well balanced by refreshing acidity, which adds length and zestiness to this wine. It's a great match with soft creamy cheese as well as with your favourite pudding.
