Thanks to years of closure over the past century, Glenglassaugh is a distillery with two types of whisky: very young or very old. This is one of the latter drams, bottled as part of the third batch of single casks released by the distillery. Matured in a cask that previously contained Massandra ? a Crimean fortified wine, similar to sherry ? and bottled in November 2016, it's a rich and dark dram, packed with dried fruit notes.

Ripe quince, white pear and nectarine flavours combine in this totally dry, medium bodied Pinot Gris from Central Otago, which is beautifully well suited to producing tasty and dry Pinot Gris, as this newcomer shows. It tastes crisp, refreshing and lightly spicy with flavours of white pears and red apples. It is part of the new Dicey Wine brand is the brainchild of the well experienced Dicey brothers, Matt and James, whose parents were among the pioneers of viticulture and winemaking in Bannockburn, Central Otago, when they co-founded Mt Difficulty Wines.

Residual sugar is less than one gram per litre and alcohol is 14.5%.

The family owned Beach House Wines turns out an impressive range of wines, including this super refreshing rose, which is made in a dry style with minimal skin contact to provide a pale colour, which is currently the trend in international roses.

Throughout its history, the house of Cocchi has periodically produced alternative varieties of its Americano aperitif wine. Here the wine base is a blend of two aromatic varietals such as Brachetto and Malvasia famous for imparting notes of wild rose and summer berries. These are blended with herbs, fruit and spices, most notably gentian, cinchona and citrus like for the Bianco classic version, but with an extra addition of Ginger and rose petals. Panhead - XPA means Extra Pale, a product of Quickchange's lighter malt base. That delicate colour though is undercut by a glorious hit of alpha oils from Mosaic, Galaxy and Citra hops. Sometimes you don't want your mouth flayed raw and your liver worked to a standstill. Sometimes a few luscious notes of mango, guava, lychee and pineapple can be just the thing.

4.6% ABV.

Part of the Exceptional Cask Series, this Highland single malt Scotch whisky from Aberfeldy has been aged for 19 years. With an oloroso sherry finish, this small batch expression of 2,256 bottles was bottled at 43% and boasts plenty of nutty fruit character.

Glen Deveron is the name that the Macduff distillery uses for its official bottlings. 

The nose is brimming with orchard fruits and cereal leading to a palate of green apple and subtle peat notes.

Mount Edward Winery is one of the few producers of great Chenin Blanc in New Zealand and this is a dry style with succulent flavours of white peach, a hint of honey and juicy acidity giving this wine its mouthwateringly long finish. 

Mount Edward Wines was founded by the godfather of modern Central Otago wine, Alan Brady, in 1997. Its name comes from Mount Edward and iti s situated at the foot of this mountain in the Gibbston Valley, which is the source of some of the grapes used in its wines. Most of the vineyard source for Mount Edward is further afield, notably in Pisa at the outstanding Morrison Vineyard and in Bannockburn at the Muirkirk Vineyard.
