Iridium is a dark and juicy red with great structure for drinking now and it's a keeper. It is made from The Boneline vineyard's and some of New Zealand's oldest Cabernet vines, which grow at the winery's natural amphitheatre on the banks of the Waipara river, which is a heat trap during North Canterbury's dry summers. This site is well suited to ripening late growing grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. All grapes are hand picked, hand sorted and slow fermented before being matured for 18 months in French oak.

Vinification

Our Estate grown grapes are hand harvested, then whole bunch pressed gently over several hours. The must settled overnight before being racked off gross solids taking only fluffy lees. Fermentation is allowed to proceed slowly at low temperature and stopped when the sugar, acid, alcohol and phenolics are in balance. We hold the wine at a cool temp for the remainder of it’s time in the cellar to retain its natural co2 spritz from primary ferment. The wine is racked and spends 6 months on fine lees before bottling.

Wine

Pale green gold and silver streaks. Delicate notes of apple blossom, honeysuckle, mandarin zest with mineral undertones.On the palate - lime oil, fleshy stone fruits, ripe red delicious and tangerine peel. Bright acidity gives the palate freshness and is balanced with generous fruit sweetness. These aspects are accentuated by the natural spritz retained from fermentation which give a lift in the midpalate. The reprise is long and lingering with a satisfyingly crisp clensing texture.

This outstanding expression of Pinot Noir comes from one of the smallest wine regions in New Zealand, the cool climate Waitaki Valley in North Otago. 

Flavours of ripe plums, red cherries and a very subtle but noticeable smoky aroma all intermingle in this beautifully complex Pinot from the outstanding, if challenging climate in Waitaki - a tiny and great quality wine region. 

This chilly valley is like a corridor between the coast north of Oamaru and Omarama in North Otago. Many parts of the valley are full of limestone laden soils, making it highly suitable for high quality wine production.

Coronita 210ml is the perfect small presentation of the classic Mexican beer, Corona. Loved in the warm, coastal regions of Mexico, this smaller bottle ensures your beer stays refreshingly cold. An original Belgian strong ale. Caramel, cloves and sweet fruit feature in the aroma before a big full bodied rich malt-accented palate and a long smooth finish.

This IPA brewed in a West Coast style highlighting the distinctively fresh tropical and passionfruit notes from the Nectaron & Nelson Sauvin hops. The fresh hops will be supplied by one of our local hop farmers, Mac Hops, and this IPA is just bursting with flavour that will linger and leave you taste buds singing for more.

5.9% ABV.

Eddyline Brewery - An American Pale Ale with an intense tropical juice aroma and refreshing dank bitterness balanced with just enough malt that allows it to finish crisp and refreshing.

This gorgeous NEIPA is Eddyline's classic CrankYanker recipe but modified by boosting the tropical El Dorado Hops, and adding a touch of Citra hops along with the standard Centennial and Mosaic.

 It comes across as a dank juiciness bursting with tropical aromas.
