Welcome to the joint venture project, a series of brewhouse two-headers featuring Boneface and some of our favorite brewers. Smash is nifty shorthand for a single malt and single hop brew, the perfect strategy to plot with Hop Federation, Motueka's lupulin pioneers in the heart of the hop capital. Together we're coaxing the NZH-109 variety to show us its good side in this gloriously fragrant Pale Ale.

Bay Haze - Hazy IPA 5.8% ABV
A New England style IPA loaded up with over 20g/L of Cryo Nelson Sauvin
and T-90 Citra hops! Sitting on a soft bed of oats, malted wheat and
pilsner malts fermented out with a fruit forward yeast strain to give the
full fruit salad effect.
Size: 440ml

A blend of 66% Pinot Noir and 34% Chardonnay this Methode Traditionnelle has had a minimum 3 years aging on lees to produce a finely structured wine rich in complex yeasty aromas and flavours.  Finished in a brut savage style, (4g/l residual sugar) it will enhance any celebration.

A new single cask expression from GlenAllachie distillery, this expression has been selected from a single 15 year old virgin oak barrel. Fifteen years in virgin oak has resulted in a rather cask forward profile, with aromas of toasted hazelnuts and milk chocolate opening up on the nose, followed by grilled honeycomb, vanilla sponge cake and hints of fresh pineapple and crisp green apple. The palate is initially rich and sweet, with notes of butterscotch, salted caramel and drizzles of heather honey, followed by vanilla and treacle. Dry sweet spiced notes of baked cinnamon and ginger, with hints of mocha round out the finish.

Offered an exclusive oppurtunity to brew with new hop 'Dolcita' gave us the chance to whip out a new volume of our experimental hop series of hazys. This new hop on the scene from the USA offers pronounced peach candy aromas with a bit of pineapple cake and clotted cream. We have paired it with a smidge of our own hand selected nelson grown motueka. Big juicy sweet stonefruit is evident in the beer and is all wrapped up in our signature soft mouthfeel.

Heyday x Mount Brewing Tangelo Witbier 440ml

5.5% - Brewed in collaboration with Mount Brewing Co, our Tangelo Witbier is a vibrant twist on a classic Belgian style. Built on a soft, pillowy base of German Pilsner & Wheat, it pours hazy and golden with a refreshing, zesty lift. Southern Cross hops bring bright notes of sweet lemon zest, while the addition of tangelo layers in juicy, tangy citrus character and a gentle tart edge. A touch of coriander adds lemony spice and depth, and the Classic Belgian Wit yeast ties it all together with subtle hints of banana, clove, and soft phenolic spice. The result is a lively, sun-soaked witbier that’s equal parts juicy, aromatic, and effortlessly drinkable.

Transcontinental Pilsner 440ml

5.3% - Brewed in collaboration with our namesake friends at Heyday Brewing in Raleigh, North Carolina, Transcontinental Pilsner unites two brewing worlds in one glass. Inspired by American pilsners that use flaked rice in their malt bases, there's a smooth, clean & slightly sweet foundation for the 100% New Zealand Riwaka driven hops to shine. Crisp, aromatic, & unmistakably cross-continental - a bright, modern lager that celebrates shared spirit across the Pacific!
