Lindemans Kriek is created by adding fresh black cherries to a Lambic that is 6 month’s old. The addition of fruits provokes a new fermentation in the oak barrels and after another 8 to 12 months, only peels and stones are left and the Kriek-Lambic is ready to be filtered and bottled.

Kasteel - Kasteel Rouge is based on our Kasteel Donker. This fruity beer makes a great aperitif on a sunny terrace. It’s certainly a beer for lovers of sweet cherries with an intense aroma of the fruit. The cherries get the better of the malt in the Kasteel Donker mother beer, although it contributes touches of chocolate and pepper to remind you it’s there. It is surprisingly easily digestible for quite a strong beer.

Leffe Bruin is a traditional Belgian abbey beer with a deep brown colour and a full, sweet and fruity aroma. Ingredients include dark and torrefied malt, corn, water, hops and yeast.

A deep brown coloured beer with reddish tones and a thick light-tan coloured head. This beer smells somewhat nutty and the taste starts with a slightly hoppy bite, followed up by the sweetness of brown sugar. The beer is lightly carbonated and is very smooth, making it easy to drink.

A vintage dated strong Trappist ale. Ruby, port like, rose petal notes and a rich warming finish. A trappist classic that ages well, one for the cellar. Bottle Conditioned.

Kasteel - The name ‘Barista’ conjures thoughts of the fragrance of steaming coffee below a layer of expertly created froth. This may sounds rather far-fetched for a beer... However, the aromas and the flavours of caramel, cacao and roast malt match seamlessly with the ‘black gold’ and chocolate. This beer builds bridges with the world of hot beverages, with warming alcohol in the finish. One to enjoy all the year round: with a meal, in front of an open fire or on an outdoor terrace.

St Bernardus Wit is a traditional Belgian white beer developed and brewed in collaboration with the legendary Master Brewer Pierre Celis. This ale is very pale (whitish-yellow color) and quite hazy. The head is white and dense. In aroma, it has a wheaty, apple-like, tartness; herbal-spicy notes with coriander and orangey fruitness and honeyish sweetness. Very refreshing: perfect thirst quencher

5.5% ABV.

Mild and light in taste, with floral aromas and a slight hint of smoked malt and a touch of bitter.

The taste is set by hops, a dash of lemon (citrus) and coriander. A Chimay Dorée from the tap is even more refreshing and thirst-quenching.

This beer, with high fermentation, has a pale amber colour and a flowery, fruity taste with a harmonious balance between sweet and sour (8% alcohol content). This beer has a thick and vivid froth and strikes by its balanced taste with a delicate bitterness.

Malt-accented, warming trappist dubbel. A peppery yeast aroma and some berry notes give way to a rich rounded finish. Bottle Conditioned.

Rochefort Trappistes 6  has a reddish-brown colour with amber-gold highlights; soft body leads to earthy flavours and an herbal character. Refined, soft spiciness in the bouquet finishes with a bit caramel. Bottle-conditioned for soft natural carbonation.

Long before hops were common in most beers, various fruits and vegetables were used to season beers. The acidity of Lambic beers blends perfectly with raspberries. Taste: Magnificent aroma, delicate palate of raspberries with undertones of fruity acidity; elegant, sparkling clean natural taste.

Tasting Notes

Profound raspberry and sugar aroma. Plum and pink color with thin head and decent lacing. Malty intro with some carbonation evident in the mouth. Initial raspberry flavor is subtle and smooth on the tongue but soon becomes bittersweet in the aftertaste. Made a raspberry shortcake once with this beer and raspberries and it was pretty good!

Leffe Tripel is an authentic blond abbey beer full of character that experiences a secondary fermentation in the bottle due to the presence of yeast. Its flavour is robust and refined.

“This blond, top-fermented and naturally hazy abbey beer surprises on various levels. For one, the balance between the bitter and the sweet flavours is simply magnificent, as is its bouquet, which contains magical flavours such as banana, peach, ripe pineapple and a variety of spices, which subtly combine coriander and orange. To obtain an even more pronounced flavour, pour it into the glass at an angle, so as to mix in the sediment at the bottom of the bottle. If you prefer your beer sweeter and softer, don’t pour the entire contents into the glass.

Straffe Hendrik Quadruple is a rich and intense dark Belgian ale. It is brewed with a subtle blend of specialty malts, which give the ale an extremely dark color and a chewy, malty complex character. The quadruple combines a clean dryness with a warm full bodied mouth feel and essences of fruit. Secondary fermentation in the bottle creates a living ale that can be aged and will have an evolution of taste profiles over time.

It is brewed by the last active brewery in the historical city of Bruges. The town archives first mention the brewery in 1546. Since 1856, the famous brewing family Maes-Vanneste has owned the brewery.

Lindesmans - Is it a sparkling wine or a beer? That is the question amateurs of exceptional products ask when they discover our Cassis for the first time. Cassis Lindemans is a fruity beer made from a lambic base which, thanks to its shades of dark purple and its aromas, is spontaneously reminiscent of wine. The taste of Cassis Lindemans on the palate is inimitable: intense and sparkling with a sour-sweet finish.

The blackcurrant aromas prevail over all the other scents. It tastes very sweet on the palate with a good acidity and a bold taste of blackcurrants, resulting in a dry woody note.

3.5% ABV.

Kriek Boon is a 100% spontaeous fermented beer made from a mix of young and old lambic aged in oak barrels. Real cherries are added, at least 250 gram per liter beer. Whole cherries are mixed with the beer during fermentation for optimal taste. Kriek Boon is a fresh, sweet and sour foaming redish beer with an authentic taste of cherries. Boon uses champagne cork on the bottles.
