Only the finest three years old Lambics are selected to be accompanied by a small percentage of young lambic in a perfect marriage made in brewing heaven. Mort Subite Oude Gueuze is a traditionally produced oude gueuze. The lambics reserved for the Mort Subite Oude Gueuze "are chosen at an early stage in fermentation" because they show promise for long term development.

St.Bernardus Tokyo Sounds familiar? You are quite right, because in 2012 we launched a one-off brew on the occasion of the opening of the first St.Bernardus-themed caf? in the Japanese capital. Eight years later, you can sample our St.Bernardus Tokyo again, albeit with a new recipe!

The young Belgian illustrator Jonas Devacht created the artwork for the can, which consists of an impression of Japanese nightlife in the iconic streets of Kanda district, where you can find ?Brasserie St.Bernardus?.

St.Bernardus Tokyo is an unfiltered ale, which has been brewed with a large amount of wheat, holding the middle between a white beer and a saison.

St.Bernardus Tokyo is an unfiltered, golden ale, topped off with an impressive white collar.

Character, taste, aromas

St.Bernardus Tokyo is famed for its hints of citrus, combined with likeable florals of chamomile and fruity yeast aromas of banana and red apple. Attentive beer fans may also detect a hint of clove and vanilla, as well as the typical esters of our unique St.Bernardus yeast. A refreshing beer with a spicy aroma and a slight hint of bitterness and sourness on the back of the palate! A real treat for the more adventurous beer fan.

Traditional top-fermentation beer that referments in the bottle. Brewed by the unique family brewery De Halve Maan, which has been located in the historical heart of Bruges since 1856. 

Straffe Hendrik is an authentic Belgian Triple beer, still brewed according to the original recipe.

Gouden Carolus Hopsinjoor completes the taste palate of the Gouden Carolus beers. “Hopsinjoor” derived from “Opsinjoor”, the typical character of Mechelen and also because of the use of 5 different kinds of hops. These hops are fractioned at a different time during the cooking process in order to conserve a maximum of aroma. 

Concerning the taste, the Ale has a gentle taste with a slightly bitter finish. Gouden Carolus Hopsinjoor was launched in 2008 on the Zythos Beer Festival and hit the mark: the visitors elected it as best beer, bringing Het Anker “The Consumer’s trophy Zythos Beer Festival 2008”. 

The beer is bottled unfiltered in order to preserve the bitterness of the hop as much as possible.

8.0% ABV.

RODENBACH is the unique & original ?Flanders Red Ale?, recognised as a traditional local product. Mixed main fermentation and maturation in oak casks ?foeders? give it the same sweet-sour flavour and complex fruitiness as wine.

RODENBACH consists of 3/4 young beer and 1/4 beer matured two years in oak. It's is highly refreshing and appetising: the perfect ap?ritif or session ale!

Kapittel Blond is a mild blond high-fermentation beer with secondary fermentation in the bottle. It has a slightly sweet and sour attack, with a mildly fruity palate and hints of citrus and orange. The light finish, combined with the tingle of the carbonation, combines to create a balanced thirst-quenching and refreshing ale.

Full body - staying head - amber color with a spicy, malty palate that finishes very fruity with complex hoppy undertones.  

2015 update: according to the brewer’s website, this is the same beer as St. Stefanus Grand Cru.

DATED STOCK: This beer is past date or nearing the best before date. The beer will still taste good but not quite so good as when it was first brewed.

Witkap Pater Dubbel (alc. 7% vol.) is a dark abbey beer with cream foam head, a full flavour and hints of caramel. Remarkably dark beer that is particularly well associate with Belgian chocolate desserts.

Kriek Mariage Parfait is an ?Old Style Kriek? of exceptional excellence, brewed in Lembeek, the village that gave Lambic its name.  It is unsweetened, unfiltered, unpasteurised and has no artificial flavours, preservatives or colourings added.

Dominated by loads of fresh tart cherry notes with some mild barnyard and some vanilla notes,  balanced against a backdrop of musky roasted oak.

Fourchette was born of the culmination of the best of two worlds—the sophisticated, refined flavours of top chefs and the knowledge and passion of 6 generations of master brewers. This mixture of a floral beer with a tripel wrapped in its golden robes, is sure to be a unique taste experience

For the creation of the Gulden Draak Smoked, we go back to the ancient tradition of malt drying: smoking malt. This resulted in a smoked touch of the malt which you afterwards also could find in the beer. This typical smoky taste was lost over the years because the malt drying techniques were made considerably more efficient.

10.5% ABV
