The Mûre Tilquin à l’ancienne is a spontaneous fermentation beer obtained from the fermentation of fresh or frozen blackberries in young lambics, blended with 1, 2 and 3 years lambic to reach a final concentration of fruits of 260-300 gr fruit per liter

Piraat triple hop is a balanced, complex brew with defined hop character. Brouwerij Van Steenberge uses the famous Piraat ale as the base providing the brew with a full-bodied fruity flavor from the malt blended with dry characteristics derived from the high levels of alcohol. Then, four different hops are added into the brew three times during the brewing process (hence triple hop).

The hops pitched are saaz, tetra and aurora twice in the brew house and then cascade is used to dry hop. These four hop styles deliver a complex character, which stands up to the great name of Piraat.

Colour and appearance: a pale blonde colour and fine creamy-white head which clings to the glass.

Flavour: A pleasant sparkling carbonate content produces a soft, full taste perception. The aroma is very balanced with a fruity, flowery background and an initial Chardonnay impression which evolves into a spicy, mild aroma of hops. The taste is very full-bodied and is balanced with fruity tones of apple and Chardonnay grapes. Deliria has a fine, mild bitterness in its aftertaste and a splendid, round feel in the mouth which evolves well.

Leffe Ruby is the first abbey beer ever to be combined with red fruit. It is light, mild and very aromatic, with a refreshing and slightly spicy flavour. The subtle hints of rosewood make this a perfectly balanced beer.

VAT 110 owes its slightly dry but very full-bodied flavor, with a hint of vanilla and dry fruit, thanks to foeder no. 110. 

This foeder used to serve as a cognac cask and has been used as a Lambic cask by our brewery since 2009. This Traditional Old Geuze is characterised by a wealth of flavours that developed from by the Brettanomyces yeast strains in the cask.

Top fermented strong blond beer, refermented in the bottle. It is a powerful, slow-drinking beer with a strong character, exquisite aroma and a sublime taste.

This brown ale has a marked ruby brown colour with a generous and lasting head. It has a distinctive aroma reflecting the wide range of ingredients used in its production. The fruitiness resulting from its fermentation blends harmoniously with a dominant liquorice and caramel fl avour.The body is decidedly malty. The bitterness is the result of a complex alchemy between the fine hops and special malts used. These give St-Feuillien Brune Réserve a typical dark chocolate appearance. This beer creates an endless variety of sensations with a lingering taste and powerful aroma.

Kasteel Cuvee has a flavour similar to a ten-year old Kasteel Donker. Roasted and caramelised malts give the beer a soft, full taste with fruity notes reminiscent of port or madeira. The aftertaste is marked by a subtle hop bitterness.

De Koninck Bolleke is a Belgian ale from Antwerp City Brewery. This Spéciale Belge beer is locally recognised as ‘The taste of Antwerp’ and can be found throughout the city, in every bar, cafe and pub, being enjoyed by locals in riverside terraces. The beer was so-named Bolleke after the bowl-shaped glass in which it’s served.

Pouring clear amber with a cream-coloured head, De Koninck Bolleke has a malty, slightly hoppy character with hints of caramel and cinnamon. It’s traditionally brewed using water, yeast, 100% pure malt and hops, with no added maize or brewing sugar. Bock has a tan, dense head with a crystal-clear amber color and a sweet aroma with a subtle roasted maltiness on the nose. The taste is slightly sweet with notes of roasted nuts and caramel. Lightly hopped, this dark lager goes down smooth.

Blonde with copper reflections, topped with a generous head, Hopus derives from a secret batch brewed for the marriage of Paul Lefebvre. It has a unique and original nose, a blend of vegetal, citrus and fruit notes. The attack is bold, with an intense bitterness accompanied by a plethora of hopped notes. On the palate, the fruity top-fermented aromas and the malted flavours perfectly balance the initial taste without masking it. The bitter aftertaste is persistent but not disturbing, powerful but not overwhelming, elegant but not opulent…in short, the perfect preparation for the next mouthful.
