Our everyday pale that's anything but ‘everyday’. Paradise Pale Ale is laden with NZ hops making it ‘all-tropical’ all the time. Star fruit, oranges, limes & papaya fill the palate along with enough light malt to keep it dry & refreshing. You could say there’s a little paradise in every pour.

Churchill Grafite is a great red from a great Portuguese wine producer. It's a blend of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz (the Portuguese name for Tempranillo), which combine to make a dry, deeply coloured and full bodied wine. Spicy notes add complexity to the layers of ripe blackberry, dark plum and cedar aromas in this fab red wine. Bring on the cold nights. This wine is ideal for them. 

Scotch from this distillery has always formed a large blending component in Dewar's blended whisky but a range of age statements such as this one were launched in 2014.

This is a tropical fruit bomb with complexed by savoury meats and a touch of smoke.

Disaronno Originale unbeknownst to most is not actually amaretto which is why it has been removed from it’s label. It is amaretto flavored, with a characteristic bittersweet almond taste. Disaronno claims its “originale” amaretto’s “secret formula” is unchanged from the year 1525, and claims the Luini tale as its own particular history. Its production remains in Saronno, but the product is sold worldwide. The company describes its amaretto as an infusion of “apricot kernel oil” with “absolute alcohol, burnt sugar, and the pure essence of seventeen selected herbs and fruits”; the product does not contain any almonds or other nuts. As an operating distillery, the production of Oban is quite limited. It only has two stills, which are among the smallest in Scotland. The standards at Oban distillery are exacting, and only the finest barley that is malted to their specifications isused. The whisky is well-rounded with distinctive maltiness and shows a misty, briny character against a background of smoke, heather and peat. The mild, temperate climate of the area, warmed by the Gulf Stream and the soft rain also contributes to its style. Oban is indeed a complete style, ideal after dinner, and covering all the bases, it provides a quintessential Scottish single malt experience!

McLeod's flagship beer and trophy winner for Best International Lager at the 2017 Brewers' Guild of New Zealand Awards, this is a proper Lager matured for a full six weeks before release. Expect a sparkling light-gold colour with ripe melon and stone fruit aromas. Crisp but layered with ‘biscuity’ malt, it finishes dry with balanced bitterness.

Triple distilled Irish whiskey matured in Sherry Cask

Nose:  Fresh oak, softened with sherry. 

Palate:  Full of flavours, and such a beautifully balanced, rounded. whiskey: oaky, fudgy, buttery, with that Bushmills rosewater character. 

Finish:  A grainy, but more-ish, dryness.

Glen Scotia Double Cask is a classic Campbeltown malt with a formidable pedigree of whisky making since 1832.  Our Master Blender hand picks every cask and finishes the precious whisky in first fill Bourbon barrels and then finishes this outstanding single malt whisky in Pedro Ximenez sherry casks.  This provides the perfect balance of rich spicy fruits overlaid with the characteristic sea spray and vanilla oak finish of the house of Glen Scotia.

After being matured in the finest Oloroso sherry and bourbon casks for at least 12 years,  the whisky is married in oak turns by Brian Kinsman, their innovative Malt Master, to give it an unrivaled harmony, complexity, and depth.

Elijah Craig has a history dating back to 1789 and  is often cited as the father of Bourbon.
This gem is from bourbon barrels selected by the master distiller from a choice middle-of-the-rickhouse location and is aged for 12 years.

Nose:  Intense and full blooded. Pot still richness: citrus oils, hot sealingwax, leather, tobacco, tea, maraschino, overripe fruits, marzipan.Exemplary.

Palate:  Ridiculously big. Oozes into the mouth and erupts. Spices galore to the finish. Oily and unctuous.

Finish:  Long, rich, oily.

Founded in 2006, Aviation gin takes its name from the Aviation cocktail, which was created in the 1900s. The gin takes a Dutch style rye spirit base combined with with juniper, lavender, anise, sarsaparilla, orange peel and cardamom, and the botanicals are steeped in grain spirit for 48 hours before they are redistilled. A pretty intriguing tipple, with a very handsome Gatsby-esque bottle. A fabulous gin to go its eponymous cocktail, though we wouldn't suggest you wing it. (Geddit?) Crisp notes of juniper on the nose alongside delicate floral sweetness, parma violets, a touch of citrus peel and some green vegetal notes in there too, with a pinch of spice. Wonderfully spicy notes on the palate, more prominent than on the nose, cardamom shining through and a scattering of cinnamon, with floral notes continuing. Spices linger though the finish, along with the return of citrus peel. 700mL 47%ABV

Tullamore Dew is a distinctively smooth Irish whiskey; experts have described its flavour as "warm, sweet spices, pleasant maltiness with toasted wood hints and a creamy vanilla smoothness".

Appleton Estate Signature Blend is a ‘blended rum’, which means it is a combination of several rums of different styles and ages and does not have an age statement.

Perfectly balanced complex citrus, fruity and sweet notes, with subtle orange peel, dried apricot, fresh peach, and a hint of molasses and woody notes.
