Introduced as the flagship Port Charlotte expression produced by Bruichladdich in 2018, this 10 year old single malt from the Isle of Islay is a lip-smackingly smoky number indeed. It's peated to 40ppm, and drawn from a combination of first-fill American whiskey casks, second-fill American whiskey casks and second-fill French wine casks.

Nose: Salted caramel brownie, flamed orange peel, a hearty whack of seaweed.

Palate: Oak-y smoke and salty sea air, paired with sweeter notes of Custard Cream biscuits and white grape.

Finish: Ginger snaps, rye toast, drying peat smokiness.

Nose: The immediate nose in this unique Irish Whiskey is how thick the aroma is.; This pot still Irish whiskey hints at being much more mature than it's 8 years, you might say this whiskey is an "old soul" thanks to the lovely dustiness and the breath of sherry.; There are subtitle hints of the bourbon wood floating through the nose, but it's masked by the clear vapor of menthol and malt.

Taste: Full bodied, sweet and rich from start to finish.; This is soon blended with a favorable spice, yet all this is balanced keeping Green Spot whiskey soft on the tongue while still punching the taste buds with the hard evidence of the pure pot still malt. If this sounds schizophrenic, it's not, it's just a very complex and complete Irish Whiskey. 

Finish: The finish on this whiskey is expectedly long, and malted, and you inhale you can't help but notice the sweet almost honey like feel mixed with a bourbon spice. the very last impression you are left with is the cooling menthol that was picked up in the nose. source - whiskeysofireland.com

A little old oak fermentation adds flesh and weight to this medium sweet style of Pinot Gris, which has rich flavours and characterful spicy white pear aromas. This North Canterbury Riesling has residual sugar between 10 and 20 grams per litre, which is beautifully balanced by fresh acidity which adds purity and tension to this lively wine.

This is made from organically certified grapes grown on the banks of the Waipara River in North Canterbury.

The region's cool nights and hot days add length to the ripening season, which makes it easy to ripen grapes with rich flavours.

Ti Kouka Forest gin showcases vibrant and versatile botanicals native to New Zealand. Inspired by the Ti Kouka tree which is the symbol of Sandymount Distillery this gin includes Kawakawa, Horopito, Tarata, Ti Kouka bark, Harakeke seed, and Manuka.

Commissioned by the adventuring brewer John Martin in 1944, Guinness Special Export stout packs a punch befitting his Belgian brewery.  8% alcohol creates a strong body.  Rich malty flavors combine with smoky roasted barley.  Licorice and butterscotch play supporting roles, along with molasses, hints of vanilla and dark fruit accents.  An Irish stout with a continental edge

Kumeu River Wines is New Zealand's top Chardonnay producer and best known globally. 

The winery is in the West Auckland village of Kumeu where it began life as San Marino Wines in 1944 when Croatian immigrant couple, Mick and Katé Brajkovich, bought a small property with a vineyard on it. Their descendents now own and run Kumeu River Wines, which produces 250,000 bottles of wine annually from its owns 30 hectares of vineyards in Kumeu and from another 10 hectares, owned by local grape growers. 

This wine, Kumeu River Estate Chardonnay is the flagship white from the winery. It is made from  grapes grown on six different vineyard sites in Kumeu and is consistently one of New Zealand's greatest dry, full bodied whites with outstanding freshness and complexity.

This great white drinks well now and can also age well for up to 10 years, potentially longer.

Who doesn't love the taste of a fresh Golden Queen peach? Well, here it is in liquid form with its delicious deep golden colour and intense flavours of summer in a glass at 4% ABV.

Chillable reds are a fabulous new wine trend where softer styles of red winemaking lend themselves ideally to a light chilling. This is a great example from Chaffey Bros in Australia. It is a juicy little blend of Grenache and Mourvedre, made to satisfy red and white wine drinkers alike. This is a pale red wine with bright ruby colour and flavours of bold raspberries and ripe cherries. It's made to drink lightly chilled and works a treat in the hot Australian heat, the country in which it was made. It travels well too… Buy at least a bottle to enjoy on warm days and nights.

A dark amber beer which is rich, toasty, nutty, and smooth with notes of dried fruits, and aged for more than 12 months in whisky casks that held very special NZ single malt whisky for more than 20 years.

11.1% ABV.

Stone Delicious IPA is a tangible example of why continual IPA and hop exploration are so fulfilling. With the Lemondrop varietal as a centerpiece and a massive dry hop composed exclusively of lemony El Dorado hops from Washington State, this beer lives up to its name behind a plethora of tart, citrusy notes and a stunning grove-like, lemon tree bouquet, providing a graceful yet in no way subtle one-two punch to the senses.

Big Peat's gone and got himself a trusty sidekick in the shape of a dapper Fox Terrier wearing a monocle! Scallywag from Douglas Laing is a vatted malt made from Speyside whiskies, including Mortlach, Macallan and Glenrothes. Many of the whiskies used in the small batch release come from Spanish sherry butts, giving Scallywag a fab sweetness that's balanced by some "mischievous" bourbon cask whisky also in the blend.

Nose: Sweetness jumps up like an excited puppy. Icing sugar, sultanas and candied ginger. A few hints of grain here and there, but sweetness steals the show.

Palate: The sweetness surprisingly retreats, revealing nutmeg and cereal. Vanilla comes in near the end. Cinnamon too, giving it a prickle of spice.

Finish: A pinch of oak spice joins the vanilla and sherry for the finish.

Overall: Incredibly pleasant, the Scallywag is an absolute treat in every sense.

This is a very fragrant, full-bodied Gewurztraminer. The nose is concentrated and intense, with notes of rose petals, Turkish delight, musk and ginger. The palate is medium dry and textural, with a bright acidity to balance the gentle sweetness.
