Unit price perClearview Sea Red is a deliciously full bodied sweet wine made from a blend of red grapes and fortified to retain sweetness, raising its alcohol to 17% ABV, producing a big, loveable cuddly sweetie. Ideal for drinking with cheddar cheese on a cold night by a warm fire or anytime you're looking for a delicious sweetie.
Clearview Estate sprang to life in 1986 when Tim Turvey and business partner Helma van den Bergare purchased the neglected but historic Vidal's No.2 Vineyard at Te Awanga in coastal Hawke's Bay. This is their take on fortified dessert reds such as port, displaying a weighty, unctuous palate of dense berry fruits and plums, which finishes dry and long. The wine is blended across vintages and the base variety is Malbec. Drink now for a fruitier style or cellar carefully for several years.
About Clearview Estate

It's a great place to visit for tastings at the cellar door as well as lunch in the dappled shade of the established courtyard area. The winery was founded by Tim Turvey, winemaker and co-owner. The current winemaker is the multi talented Matt Kirby.

Unit price perLaird & Company - Applejack, known as, ?America?s First Spirit?, has been a part of American culture prior to earning our independence. The Laird family has produced Applejack in New Jersey since 1698, with the first commercial transaction, recorded in the family ledger, in 1780.
As America evolved over the past 200 plus years, so has Laird?s Applejack. To meet consumer demand for lighter, lower proof spirits, the Laird family created the Blended Applejack spirit category in 1972. Today, best described as an apple whiskey, Laird?s Applejack is a pure spirit beverage made from a blend of apple brandy and neutral grain spirits. The aged apple brandy base gives Laird?s Applejack a rich, deep flavor and smooth balance, while retaining the delicate aroma and flavor of tree-ripened apples from which it is made. Our blended applejack imparts this delightful apple flavor to mixed cocktails, punches and culinary recipes. Its versatility is boundless. Experiment and substitute Laird?s Applejack in your favorite cocktails. We promise you won?t be disappointed.

From the distillery.
This exquisite single malt has been crafted from a combination of unpeated and peated spirit and four cask matured for at least twenty one years in bourbon barrels, sherry casks, virgin oak casks and Bordeaux red wine casks. During long maturation Benriach’s sweet Speyside smoke mellows and integrates with the fruit, malt and oak. After twenty one years, rich layering develops into an elegant honey smoke, enriched through multi-layered cask maturation. The whisky from each cask type, imbued with particular flavour characteristics, is then expertly married together to create a rich and elegant single malt, layered with lush orchard fruit and toasted pine wood with a honey smoke finish. All in perfect balance.
