Pegasus Bay whites have the X factor and this awesome blend of four grapes is no exception. It's made from Semillon and Chardonnay which add toasty, rich, dry and creamy notes to this off beat wine style. Ultra ripe Semillon from 33 year old vines was fermented naturally with its solids to add some funky complexity, and then aged on lees in old oak barrels for 2 ½ years. A little Gewurztraminer and Muscat add aromatic interest and appeal. 

The longer than usual period in oak has given this wine a toasty and nutty character, with extra richness on the palate. There are also hints of citrus blossom and some floral notes. Skin contact during the fermentation has added savouriness, however, the wine still has crisp acidity that provides for a lively and refreshing finish. A full bodied and complex wine, not for the faint hearted. Funkier than a night on the town with James Brown!

'Smuggler Bay' Series - Breadalbane Barrel-aged Blended Sour is an enticing blend of numerous sour beer vintages from our barrel program, the majority being former Marlborough Chardonnay casks. Aromas of grapefruit & dank gooseberry lead to a soft sourness hinting at oak & vanilla. Finish

Hunter's Chardonnay offers incredibly good value for money. Complex, consistent and creamy, it has crisp notes that add great balance to such a modestly priced, affordable wine. 

Fermentation in 500 litre French oak puncheons with wild yeasts provides a smooth, full body to this impressive Chardonnay, which is made from grapes grown on three different vineyards in Marlborough.

Grapes in this wine were grown in Rapaura, Renwick and Omaka sub regions of Marlborough, all on vineyards that the Hunter's team has used for many years now. This wine is incredibly consistent in style with richly flavoursome citrus, nectarine and creamy flavour notes, supported by a firm backbone of acidity which adds drive, length and freshness to every succulent sip.

Two Tones refers to the two kinds of cask used for the maturation of this blended whisky; European oak which formerly held New Zealand red wine & American white oak used exclusively for whisky.

Louis Jadot owns one of the largest holdings of top level vineyards in Burgunday so has access to outstanding grapes in good volumes, so wines like this lively fresh young Chardonnay benefit hugely. This wine is a regional blend from Burgundy, made from grapes grown in both the Cotes d’Or and Macon, which combine to add flesh, weight and depth along with purity of acidity for freshness. 

One of Lindeman’s most famous brews, Faro is a sweet, sharp, woody Gueuze with a wild, musty character that offers mouthwatering back-of-the-tongue refreshment.

Pouring a peachy gold beneath an attractive head, Faro is full of classic wild yeast and woodrot tones and a fruity, oaky tone that lifts the tasting experience to a delicately sweet and sour finish.

Hill & Valley is all about highlighting the ripe and balanced flavours of great wines, such as this full bodied red, from the warmth of the Barossa Valley in South Australia. From the cooler Adelaide Hills to the elevated Eden Valley vineyards to those situated on the Barossa Valley floor, these ancient soils provide the base for great wines that speak of their origins.

"Dense with a bright red edge, there are dark brooding fruit aromas with hints of blueberry and choc-mint. The palate is medium-bodied with blue fruit and fine grained tannins for a very soft finish."

Tis malt is a light and easy drinking whisky and shows a large influence from the American oak cask in which it has peacefully aged for 15 years.

Nose: Gentle, balanced with orchard fruits, oak, blossom, orange too, creamy vanilla, toffee.

Palate: Creamy and soft with a prominence of fruit and malt. Balanced, some toffee, caramel, citrus.

Finish: A long, soft finish.

The Lasanta was extramatured in Spanish oloroso sherry casks following a minimum of ten years in ex-bourbon casks. In Gaelic, Lasanta means warmth and passion, and this refers to the key notes of toffee, raisins and walnuts. Upon further nosing and tasting, rich undertones of sultanas, oranges and chocolate emerge, with the dessert sherry wood showing its worth. 

Nose - Like the most delicious dessert menu imaginable, Lasanta taunts the senses with chocolate covered raisins, honeycomb and smooth caramel toffee. Citrus notes clear the way for the crispy burnt sugar and melting softness of creme brulee to be replaced by the rich aroma of rum and raisin ice cream

Palate - The full, sweet flavour typical of Spanish sherry with sultanas, orange segments, walnuts and butter toffee. The bite of hazelnut tasted through a chocolate coating, spice notes and hints of leather add the overwhelming sense of richness

Finish - Satisfyingly long with spiced orange and chocolate enrobed hazelnuts 

A smooth dry style overlaid with caramel and liquorice notes.Method of Production : Made from 80% corn, 12%rye and 8% malt, a small beer is made that distills once, giving thewhiskey weight. A doubler under the still re-distils vapour from thebeer heater giving softness to the spirit. Filtering slowly through 10feet of maple charcoal takes fusel oils from the whiskey and addssmokiness. Barrel maturation in American oak smooths the spirit, addingcaramel tones. It is the charcoal filtration method that makes thisTennessee whisky.

A unique whisky made from imported Scottish peated malt which spends 2 years in madeira casks, then 6 years in mizunara casks. 

This is light, clean and fruity with aromas of apple, white grape, lingering cigar smoke, coconut macaroons, and ample Japanese oak influence. Apple and watermelon flavors appear on the palate, developing a more sugary fruitiness of candy, all brushed with gentle spice and a swish of smoke.

Kavalan's incredible Solist Vinho Barrique expression is allowed to mature in casks that have contained red and white wines, and then re-toasted. Very interesting Taiwanese whisky from King Car.

Nose: Vanilla and caramelized sugars with dark chocolate on top. Ripe melon and mango.

Palate: Kiwi and a delicate blend of citrus fruits burst. Pepper is also present in the background waiting to be noticed.

Finish: Clean and complex hints of chocolate and ripe fruit.
