They say its wings bring thunder and its eyes flash lightning, but the Thunderbird’s intensity is benevolent, its appearance a good omen. This bright IPA borrows its name to give a fresh retelling to a familiar story by keeping things lean, lucid and enlivening. Its dazzling tropical character comes thanks to modern hop varieties from North America, where these tales were first told.

WINEMAKING
The grapes were 100% handpicked and gravity fed into open top fermenters with 20% whole bunch inclusion. The skins were gently pumped over twice a day. The total time on skins was 21 days before being gently pressed off and matured in French oak for 16 months. The wine went through 100% malolactic fermentation in early spring before blending and bottling.


TASTING NOTES
On the nose fragrant and bright aromas of red liquorice, rose petals, dried spices, cranberries, cherries and blackberries. On the palate a core of wild strawberry and bramble fruits flavours is underpinned by silky tannins and fine acidity, with a long, crisp finish of slate and spice. This wine is concentrated but elegant.

Deep, dark toasty and vibrant caramel malts dominate this cascadian beauty. Displaying a lingering bitterness with hints of coffee and a creamy tan head, finishing with distinctive Northwest American hops.

PRODUCT OF GERMANY. A bright orange colour shimmers in the glass, above it lies a fluffy, white foam with a firm consistency. The naturally cloudy beer subtly smells of malt and freshly roasted white bread. A soft palate is surrounded by an elegant sweetness that balances perfectly with a discreet hoppy bitterness.

PRODUCT OF GERMANY. The most bavarian of all beers – malt accentuated with gentle caramel notes, black as night. Its rich deep black to mocha-coloured appearance with bright red reflections is crowned by a creamy foam. The roasted malt aromatic scent is reminiscent of dark bread and fresh coffee. On the palate flows the velvety soft malty taste, coated by a harmonious sweetness, elegant and very clean. The perfectly balanced body has a warming effect and then a fine bitterness is perceived, which is calm and dry.

PRODUCT OF GERMANY. The classic dry and spicy with a fine hoppy note. Our Pilsener presents itself in the glass Straw-yellow in colour and glossy with elegant ascending carbon dioxide and a snow-white, solid foam. Elegant fresharoma hops initiate the fragrance sypmphony which gradually takes on a hint of summer barley. A fresh, sparkling overture is followed by the slender malt body with a full hop aroma. The finale follows with a long-lasting bitterness and a slightly fruity sweetness.

PRODUCT OF GERMANY. Liquid gold, unfiltered with a creamy foam crown – the unique character of the yeast-white beer. Golden yellow with orange reflections is adorned with a firm foam that has a creamy consistency. A striking scent of bananas emerges. The fruity note is also continued on the palate. Delicately effervescent and refreshing at the same time, the full-bodiedness seduces you with a fine hoppy aftertaste.

Beer Isbjorn Pilsner LOW CARB Mack 4.5% 500m

Low Gluten, Low Sugar, Low Carb! Tasting Notes: Isbjørn LOW CARB is brewed from a recipe containing less malt than the original Isbjørn, resulting in a beer with less calories. It has 70 % less carbohydrates and 30 % less sugar than Isbjørn, but has the same good taste. This is a pale, refreshing pilsner beer with a pleasant, characteristic hoppy flavor. Isbjørn is the perfect companion to grilled meat dishes, and a fantastic thirst quencher on a hot summer day. Also this beer has less than 10ppm of Gluten.

Cantine Riondo is a large cooperative based near Soave with over 2,000 winegrower members. This Extra Dry vintage spumante (Italian for semi sparkling), offers rich and elegant scents of ripe Golden Delicious apple, acacia and wisteria blossom. Fresh and creamy on the palate with a pleasant silky finish.

Commercial description

"Grapes are dried in temperature and humidity controlled warehouses in hillside locations till December. Fermentation for about 20 days on the skins with constant pumping over. Oak wood aging for 18 months and in bottle for 6 months.

Casalforte Amarone della Valpolicella is a full-bodied red wine with a garnet red shade. Its complex bouquet recalls cherry jam, ripe black cherries and spicy notes of vanilla and licorice. On the palate it is juicy, well-structured with a fresh and fruity finish. It pairs perfectly with rich pasta dishes, game and grilled or stewed red meats as well as mature cheeses."
