De Koninck Bolleke is a Belgian ale from Antwerp City Brewery. This Spéciale Belge beer is locally recognised as ‘The taste of Antwerp’ and can be found throughout the city, in every bar, cafe and pub, being enjoyed by locals in riverside terraces. The beer was so-named Bolleke after the bowl-shaped glass in which it’s served.

Pouring clear amber with a cream-coloured head, De Koninck Bolleke has a malty, slightly hoppy character with hints of caramel and cinnamon. It’s traditionally brewed using water, yeast, 100% pure malt and hops, with no added maize or brewing sugar. Buy De Koninck Bolleke for a pleasing speciality brew with rich warm flavours and an ABV of 5.2%.

Blackbeard Coffee Stout is a result of a long term relationship with our friends and neighbours from Little Drum Coffee. We used huge amounts of carefully hand selected Brazilian single origin coffee beans, along with dark speciality malts. To deliver espresso flavours and aromas with hints of bitter dark chocolate and toffee with medium but rich complex body.

A perfect beer to enjoy not only on colder winter nights but all year around, for all of the coffee and dark beer lovers out there!

Peckam's x Duncan?s

Fresh Hopped is a special collaboration with our friends at Duncan's Brewing Company, a celebration of our two harvests coming together.

Duncan's works with Eggers Hop Farm for their hops each year which is located a stone's thrown from our orchard.  Together with the Duncan's team, we collected fresh hops straight off the bine from Eggers and brought them back to the cidery.

For the freshest hop cider in the land with beautiful lush hop flavour, our cidermaker Jody, added the hops to a partially fermented cider and then over night the fermentation completed with the fresh hops soaking.

The result is a fabulously aromatic cider, dry in style with a delightful citrus and tropical character coming from the fresh Motueka hops.  Balanced and fruity, the hops and the apple flavour are perfectly integrated for a refreshing cider.

FOREST OF GIANTS WEST COAST IPA

A proud, majestic brew, it reaches high with tropical fruit notes over a lush, green backdrop. Made for enjoying everywhere Aotearoa takes you.

Prepare to snatch the cloak from our latest  limited edition and reveal to the world the  palate-provoking, taste-tantalising, whisky wonder that is Ardbeg Spectacular.  A first for Ardbeg, this whisky has been  matured in highly sought-after port wine casks, then married with classic bourbon barrels creating an extraordinarily smoky and balanced Ardbeg dram that imparts all  manner of peculiar notes and aromas. This is  devilish sweet meets smoky peat!

Tasting Notes: Smoky pear crumble and cooling  menthol twist into notes of incense candles, perfumed  lavender and antique leather.

Cask Type: Matured in highly sought-after port wine  casks and classic ex-bourbon barrels

This is a rich style of Chardonnay with the accent on strong fruit flavours. Ripe melon, nectarine and summer peach aromas abound with oak hints of cedar and spice and a long, full, yet soft finish. ideal matched with creamy pasta and white meat dishes. It is also delicious with seafood.

Vineyard
This Chardonnay is a mix of the Mendoza clone and Clone15 from the Bridge Pa and Crownthorpe areas in the Hawke’s Bay. Free-draining stony silty loams are the predominate soil type in this area. The crop was kept low and well exposed to ensure good even ripening and flavour development.

Winemaking
This Chardonnay was cool fermented with both aromatic and Burgundy style yeasts in barrels and stainless steel tanks. Once fermentation was completed, the wine was left for an extended period on yeast lees to promote textural qualities and mouthfeel. A portion of the wine went through Malolactic fermentation to soften acidity and add warm buttery notes.The wine exhibits pineapple and grapefruit flavours with a rich mealy texture.
