Unit price perA small-batch-distilled gin from the Isle of Mull-based distillery Tobermory, who is better known for creating Scotch whisky. It features local botanicals including elderflower, tea and wild heather, and a dash of Tobermory new-make spirit, which is used more as another botanical rather than the full base. Initially made in a 60-litre still named Wee Mary, Tobermory Gin has a larger dedicated gin still in a stillhouse separate from the existing whisky-producing space.
Nose: Mixed peels, vanilla blossom and a hint of malty warmth.
Palate: Savoury elements sit up front - oily juniper, cardamom and kitchen herbs. Clean lemon zest and star anise notes cut through the herbaceousness.
Finish: Malty vanilla returns on the finish, with a touch of floral heather.

Unit price perCinco Sangria Rum is the blend of our white rum with Unkel’s fruity organic Nelson Pinot Noir, and NZ-grown oranges, cherries, and apples. The amalgamation results in a medium-bodied rum with aromas of orange peel and apple, partnered with big bursts of flavour from cherries and oranges, finished lightly with a hint of dark chocolate.
Bodegas Roda is completely new to New Zealand this year, 2023, and is also a fabulously modern expression of traditional Spanish grape varieties which express themselves in bold red fruit flavours here with the support structure of firm smooth tannins, spicy complex aromas and depth. The blend is 94% Tempranillo, 4% Garnacha and 2% Graciano, all grown on bush vines between 15 to 30 years of age.
Fermentation and ageing was in large French oak vats for 12 months. Stabilisation was natural with egg white used for fining.
This is a great wine from relatively youthful vines in Spanish terms. It drinks well now and has fabulous structure to age further.

Unit price perGrants Family Reserve is one of the worlds best loved Scotch whiskies and enjoyed in over 180 countries. First created by William Grant in 1898, the blend is today, five generations later, entrusted to Grants Master Blender, Brian Kinsman. Brian skilfully blends around 25 of the finest single malt and grain Scotch whiskies to make Grants Family Reserve. The basis for the blend is our widely acclaimed Girvan grain whisky. Vacuum distilled at a lower temperature to make it a lighter and more delicate spirit, it is then aged in oak to give it a deeper, sweeter, soft fruit flavour, creating the perfect foundation.

Unit price perFor this, "The Botanist", small-batch, artisanal Islay gin we use nine of the classic gin aromatics orris root, cassia bark, coriander seed, etc ? and augment these with a heady harvest of 22 wild, native island botanicals, hand-picked by our expert foraging team from the windswept hills, peat bogs and Atlantic shores of this Hebridean island of Islay.
This truly seasonal and exotic cocktail is then slow "simmer" distilled in our unique and cherished lomond pot-still, "ugly betty". Betty prefers to work at low-pressure and won't be rushed. So our precious botanicals are slowly and gently coaxed into releasing their complex, signature aromatics.
This was a unique project for our head distiller, Jim McEwan. Jim says he had to "learn a new dance" with Betty, and none of us knew what to expect from that first, achingly-slow 17-hour distillation. The result: a highly distinctive, complex, floral gin with an outstanding finish and impeccable provenance. In an age of re-badged industrial gins, the Botanist stands out as a truly artisanal, small-batch, hand-crafted labor of love and distiller's art. A breath of botanical Islay in every glass.Source - www.bruichladdich.com
