The vineyard is divided into 6 discrete blocks with different aspects and slopes and an elevation between 100 and 130 m. Normally picked midway through the Pinot Noir harvest window this vineyard has rapidly become the cornerstone block for Nautilus Pinot Noir where the clay-based soils contribute a silken texture and fine-grained tannins. The vines are trained to a VSP trellis system with a mixture of cane and spur pruning, with a target yield of 1.5 - 2.0 kg per vine.

Unit price perSituated on the remote Hebridean Island of the same name, Raasay Distillery was founded in 2014. While the island is no stranger to distilling, Raasay is the first legal distillery to be built there. With fewer than 200 inhabitants, Raasay is a tight knit community, the distillers aim to be at one with the island, bottling on site and employing many locals.
The Raasay Hebridean Gin is distilled in the old way, using malted barley spirit three times distilled in a pot still. Unusually the juniper is harvested on the island itself, complimented by botanicals such as rhubarb root, cubeb, angelica root, and sweet orange peel.

The palate brings a trip to the orchard, with ripe green apples and pears in the spotlight, backed by touches of banana and clover honey. Soft smoke and citrus leave you wanting more...

The palate is intensely concentrated, with a superbright tension building freshness and precision as layer upon layer of fine polished tannins give pinpoint detail alongside signature, exacting, levels of finesse.

Unit price perCuvée Watou Rouge has a blood-red colour that permeates into the creamy, foamy head. When tasting it, the sweet, fruity aroma is quite prominent, first of all, after which the taste of cherries and raspberries prevails. The soft after-taste, which does not linger for too long, creates a feeling for more. In short: summer in a glass.
Cuvée Watou Rouge was brought onto the market in 2019, at the request of our customers. After a one-year research period, our brew master was satisfied with the fruit combination that he had put together. This typical Rouge can tempt both men and women and should be seen as a fruit beer with a savouring character

Puhoi Beer is our award-winning version of the classic Czech pilsner.
Inspired by the original Bohemian settlers of Puhoi, Puhoi Beer is a drinkable lager with a bunch of character.
If we were trying to impress you we might have crapped on about Puhoi Beer being a mix of NZ and classic Czech noble hops that provide floral, citrusy, and spicy flavours on a light malt base with subtle bready and toasty characters. But we wouldn’t want to beer-bore you so let’s just say it’s bloody tasty.
Puhoi Beer also goes well with sunshine, tall tales, good yarns, and fish ‘n’ chips wrapped in newspaper.
Your first one tastes pretty good, and the second’s not bad either.
