This beautifully crafted, Single Vineyard Pinot Noir comes from our 3 hectare Tussock Ridge Vineyard. Situated on the edge ofa high terrace in the middle of the Alexandra Basin, amidst spectacular mountains in the Central Otago region of New
Zealand. The vineyard overlooks the Clutha River between Alexandra
and Clyde and is located just above the Central Otago Rail Trail.

Tasting
It's fabulously perfumed and enticing on the nose, showing dark berry, smoked game, dried mushroom and hazelnut aromas, leading to a concentrated palate that's opulent and beautifully flowing. Splendidly framed by finely infused tannins, finishing wonderfully long and velvety.

Winemaking
All the fruit was hand harvested before being 100% destemmed before a long, slow maceration. The fruit was fermented slowly then gently pressed before spending
10months in French oak barriques. The wine is a selection of our best barrels of the season before bottling. The wine is filtered and un-fined.

A hot rod icon. Stunning in ‘72. The wildest ride many had ever seen as magazine pages on bedroom walls or rumbling round Rotovegas, Cambridge and the ‘Tron.
It survives in ‘25, resuscitated by a couple of highly skilled hot rod history buffs, father and son.

Once the country’s coolest, Road Hog is coming back for its crown more than half a century later. An old-school IPA built with new-school hops. Expect an aggressively hopped, malt stabilised, bitterly finished beauty, fanging bright tropical tones with zesty, floral echoes. 

Vodka, Pineapple and Lime will transport you to a bar in the Caribbean. Not sure where, since we've not been. But we imagine it'd be a super nice bar, named something cool like "El Encantado" or something..

Ripe pineapple pairs perfectly with tangy lime, making for a thirst quenching and sessionable combination. Juicy and tropical, it bursts with fresh, real fruit flavours, perfect for a hot Summer's day.

Zesty pink lemon hits up front with a refreshingly juicy, slightly sweeter ‘pink’ citrus note to finish. The pink lemon perfectly balances tartness and sweetness for an ultra refreshing Summer drop.

We cannot put into words how much we love our stormy and isolated island at the bottom of the world - so we’ve bottled it to share with you.

It's our classic Third Island Gin - locally foraged Manuka, Rimu, and Horopito showered in pure Stewart Island rainwater - now of seafaring stature.

In the 18th Century, the Royal Navy began the practice of storing gin rations below deck alongside gunpowder.

As such it was crucial that, should a barrel burst, the wet gunpowder would still ignite in the heat of battle.

Anything under 57.15% - or "gunpowder proof" - was barred from ships, while any gin stronger was welcomed aboard.

And with that, Navy Strength Gin was born.

How can something come from nothing?

It is upon this fundamental age-old question that Third Island Vodka is built.

Vodka, by definition, should be as close to 'nothing' as possible - completely devoid of all distinction, character, and individuality.

We disagree. And as it turns out, our answer was around us all along.

Blessed with only pure Stewart Island rain as our water source, our innovative filtration technique incorporates sustainably-foraged paua, mussel, and oyster shells from the pristine Southern Ocean.

A final, polishing touch of free-flowing tannin-rich waters collected off the very rock of Rakiura herself all result in an exquisitely smooth mouthfeel and delicate minerality fully absent of any pronounced additional flavour.

When it comes to vodka, our philosophy has never faltered: A little something makes all the difference, for nothing hardly comes close.

Trail Rider wines are hand made from fruit grown in some of Alexandra's best vineyards, most of which overlook the Central Otago Rail Trail. These are serious wines made with no corners cut, designed to be enjoyed and shared now, although these wines will develop with time.
