Hoppy and flavourful with a refined bitterness on the tail end, this beer attacks on all fronts.

Unleash a little mischief with Loki Doki – a cunningly crisp West Coast IPA that walks the line between order and chaos. Built on a blend of Nelson Sauvin, Mosaic and Simcoe hops, this brew delivers ripe fruit, dank resin, and a touch of sweaty swagger, balanced by a dry, snappy finish. Less sunshine, more shadows - it’s got that wild glint in its eye.

Merlot, Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon combine in this outstanding full bodied dry and powerful blend, which is made from hand picked grapes grown in the Gimblett Gravels Winegrowing District’s Cornerstone and Ngakirikiri vineyards. 

The grapes were fermented with wild yeasts, which provides diverse depth and flavours to the wine, which has flavour notes of black olives, dried herbs and black currant notes. The wine was aged in French oak for 20 months and bottled unfiltered, which accentuates its gritty, smooth, powerful cedar notes.

The third edition, The Beithir’s Tale 15 Years Old is the last of the Anthology has been aged for 15 years in a special designer charred bourbon casks, air-seasoned, heavily toasted and then lightly charged

COLOUR – Pale Straw

NOSE – Pungent, oily and spicy, rich notes of treacle wrap around creosote and smoked herbs. Toasted apples and raisins reveal a sweeter
underbelly. With water, eucalyptus and menthol burst forth as fennel and pine trail behind.

TASTE – Astoundingly balanced, a sizzling mouthfeel leads into peat smoke, coffee grits and currents. Sweet lemon balsam entwines with smoked mandarins, followed by a sharp, smoky tang.

FINISH – Finally, a long, meandering finish brings with it subtle hints of vanilla and smoked butter.

This classic wine of the estate and of the appellation is an archetypal expression of the finesse and elegance of the wines of Côte-Rôtie amde with Syrah and a splash of Viognier. 

Dark ruby red in colour. Spices, red berries and delicate oak aromas. Round soft tannins. Aromas of raspberry, blackberry and vanilla. Balance between scarcely perceptible acidity and tannins which add ageing potential and softened by long ageing in oak.

One of our most awarded beers. This beer was inspired by a trip to the continent of wheat driven styles. This is fundamentally a traditional Bavarian wheat beer but our take, whilst being true to its origins, has our own twist with a mix of local and imported ingredients. This mix stacks the beer with that distinct Euro flavour and delivers that authentic frothy head. The finished beer is un-fined and un-filtered so roll bottles gently for your cloudy drinking pleasure.
