A deliciously bright and refreshing Assyrtiko from Greek Macedonia. Kir-Yianni are one of the finest producers in Greece (and they recently became owner-managers of Sigalas from Santorini too). This is Kir-Yianni's own mainland version of a steel fermented Assyrtiko. From very poor and sandy soils lying at quite a high elevation (700m), it boasts a wonderful volume of aroma and a fine, bracing acidity. It's a great example and superb value at this price.

Charming anise, sweet baking spice note with almond, fresh lemon and grapefruit finish.

A New Zealand exclusive produced in collaboration with Signatory Vintage. Distilled at the Ardmore distillery situated half-way between between Inverurie and Huntly in rural North East Scotland. Distilled in July 2010 and aged for 14 years in total, its final phase of maturation took place in a first-fill Oloroso hogshead.

The aroma initially evokes old dunnage warehouses, before a flood of raspberry ripple ice cream, rocky road and chocolate dipped raspberries. Ardmore's signature smoke is there, a subtle undertone of fragrant beech wood coming from an old wood smoker. On the palate, this is rich and dense with tart summer fruits, charred peaches and hard creamy toffee (Scottish, of course). There is a heart of burnt orange zest and cinnamon spice that lands soft and dry in the finish.

Diluted by time to 58.4% cask strength, this whisky will show its natural oils with water added to your glass, throwing a cloudy haze.

If IPA and Belgian Blonde had a lovechild. Houblonde, Belgian style IPA. Glowing golden blonde ale, fermented with Belgian yeast and then hopped with Nelson Sauvin, Simcoe and NZ Cascade. Subtle floral, fruit and spice notes blend seamlessly with sauvignon blanc grape, fresh citrus and pine aromatics in a beer with juicy malt sweetness and balanced bitterness. You can have it all.

Complex herb & fruit salad aromas of banana, passionfruit, capsicum & riesling-like diesel. Biscuity malts bolster smooth bitterness, a smidgen of spice & shiny emerald hoppiness. Medium-bodied yet dry with a pleasing punchy finish, it’s IPA to the max for real beer lovers.

It’s been a rainy ol’ winter, so a succulent, lip-smacker is in order. As the Kate Bush song says, ‘Like the sun coming out!’ We loaded equal parts Freestyle Farms' Nelson Sauvin (Nelson Lakes grown) + Nectaron Waimea West) into this, so it’s all luscious grapefruit & sticky green with lush tropical undertones. Pleasantly bitter & mouth-filling

Aliment's new core range IPA. Fittingly it's a nod to Vermont, the US state where Jason was weaned on Grade B maple syrup, long winters & stellar powder days. And - yes - it's UNFILTERED. Shockingly it isn’t green given the lavish dollops of Nelson Sauvin, Mosaic & Pacifica in every drop. But - no surprise - it’s a banger! Sticky dank cannabis, fresh lemon zest & rich, ripe tropical fruit notes coat the palate to proper bitterness & a gloriously long hoppy finish. One pint & - jeezum crow! - you’re in a Green Mountain state of mind.

Deceptive in its simplicity, Local Lager is a beer that quenches, refreshes & humbly stands guard while the moment shines. It doesn't thumb its nose at anything on the table or off the grill. Easy-going yet engaging, it's an egalitarian brew that's sure-to-please. Cold fermented & lagered - like a good lager should be - NZ Pilsner malt stands up to a light hopping with local Wai-iti & Motueka for a hint of peach up front, light cracker maltiness in the body to balanced bitterness & a thread of stone fruit on the finish. If you're looking for an all-rounder with 'goldilocks' ABV & approachability, look no further.

Tropical, tangy and bursting with passionfruit flavour, Pash Inn is Mr Consistent’s take on the much-loved Passionfruit Martini. Rich fruit, lively acidity and balanced sweetness make this a vibrant crowd-pleaser.

One 750ml bottle makes approximately 10 cocktails.

To serve: Add 45ml vodka and 75ml Pash Inn to a shaker filled with ice. Shake hard, then double-strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Serve with a side of sparkling wine for the full experience.

Mocktail: Replace the vodka with 45ml water or a non-alcoholic spirit.
