Unit price perOude Gueuze (ABV 6%) from traditional lambic producer Hanssens Artisanaal is a Gueuze Lambic that pours hazy orange-gold with an off white head.
Lambics of several vintages are blended, then receive a secondary fermentation in the bottle, which is cellared for a minimum of six months.
The strong, tart, funky aroma contains notes of earthy wood, cut hay, lemon, sour apple and vanilla. The taste is assertively, intensely tart, with flavors of rhubarb and citrus augmented by earthy, nutty notes. Crisp, refreshing and bracing, with relative dryness and high carbonation, this is a great example of the Belgian Gueuze.

Unit price perThanks to its in-bottle re-fermentation, the Lindemans Oude Gueuze Cuvée René gives you a completely natural sparkle and froth.
The Lindemans Oude Gueuze Cuvee Rene contains one-third old lambic, aged for at least two years, and two-thirds young lambic, which is at least one year old and has been matured in large oak foeders.
The yeasts and sugars in the Lindemans Oude Gueuze Cuvee Rene prompt the in-bottle re-fermentation. Slowly but surely the wild yeasts will convert all of the residual sugars into alcohol and carbon dioxide. Six months on, the result is a golden-coloured, sparkling, mildly sour gueuze.

Unit price perAfter secondary fermentation in the bottle in the purest tradition of Floreffe’s abbey beers, it has a very deep, almost black colour with a brown head. The nose, combining aniseed, liquorice, roast aromas and white fruits, is exceptionally rich and refined. The power of the ingredients is obvious from the first sip, expressed in coffee and grilled cocoa bean flavours.
The beer is robust, warm but not liquor-like, against the slightly acrid background of roasted malts. With its moderate alcohol level and its long, noticeably acidic finish, Floreffe Prima Melior is a connoisseur’s beer, complex but accessible. Stored under good conditions, the aniseed notes give way to woody, almost maderised notes, a must for lovers of matured beers.

Unit price perKasteel - The name ‘Barista’ conjures thoughts of the fragrance of steaming coffee below a layer of expertly created froth. This may sounds rather far-fetched for a beer... However, the aromas and the flavours of caramel, cacao and roast malt match seamlessly with the ‘black gold’ and chocolate. This beer builds bridges with the world of hot beverages, with warming alcohol in the finish. One to enjoy all the year round: with a meal, in front of an open fire or on an outdoor terrace.

Unit price perDelirium Tremens' brother, Delirium Nocturnum, is a darker style of Belgian ale from the Huyghe Brewery, featuring more robust notes of well-roasted malt at its core. As ever, it comes in their unique bottles with the very cool labels...
Plenty of the fruit notes from the Delirium Tremens can be found here, namely banana and ripe pear, but now it's joined by a generous helping of chocolate malt goodness. Bitterness is more restrained than the Tremens, too. More focus is put on the caramel sweetness and vibrant fruit.

Unit price perOude Geuze Boon is one of the finest examples of the traditional 100% spontaneous fermentation Lambic style. To moderate the sourness, Boon Brewery only brews Lambic in the 7 cold months, from early October until April, according to the traditional "turbid mash" system. This Lambic beer is brewed from 40% unmalted wheat, 60% of barleymalt, aged hops and wild yeasts collected from our coolship and is aged for 1, 2 or 3 years in oak casks. The blend, a mild average 18 months old Lambic (unsweetened, unfiltered, unpasteurised) is refermented in the bottle and can be stored up to 20 years. Brewed in Lembeek, the village that gave Lambic its name. Awards at the World Beer Championships: 2008 Gold, 2010 Silver, 2012 Gold Medal.
