Grapefruit Satellite, Hazy IPA 6%

Grapefruit Satellite is a transcontinental hazy that takes you on a journey out of this world. A smooth and juicy East Coast Hazy meets resinous and pithy West Coast hops. White grapefruit adds a luscious burst of citrus and zest.

You can have too much of a good thing. London, October 17, 1814, one of the Horse Shoe Brewery?s massive beer vats collapses releasing over half a million litres of porter, demolishing nearby buildings and killing eight people - their causes of death variously described as drowning or drunkenness. The Great Deluge, brewed with barley, oats, roasted wheat and East Kent Goldings, then aged in oak barrels for over a year with brettanomyces and lactobacilli creating a throwback style porter with dark chocolate and coffee notes and a restrained tart twist. Enjoy in moderation.

Sour Porter - 13% ABV.

Surrender to the Void, an outrageously decadent pitch black stout brewed using an enormous, complex malt bill and mounds of debaucherous adjuncts. What?s the Void up to now? Goodness, what a lot of cacao nibs and vanilla pods!? Are you sure you need all that? And what?s that? Peppermint candy!? ALL the peppermint candy! Oh Void, have you no restraint!

This Schwarzbier (black beer) is a dark German lager which takes the classic style and gives it a twist with a dash of roast grains. Resulting in an opaque black beer with hints of coffee and caramel. First brewed under a Super Blood Moon, we have otherwise kept ours as traditional as possible with imported German malts and hops. The result is a classic style that drinks like a Munich lager with hints of roast malts and spice from the hops. Rich yet easy drinking and finishing clean with a smooth bitterness.

THUNDERBIRD  |  BRIGHT IPA

They say its wings bring thunder and its eyes flash lightning, but the Thunderbird’s intensity is benevolent, its appearance a good omen. This bright IPA borrows its name to give a fresh retelling to a familiar story by keeping things lean, lucid and enlivening. Its dazzling tropical character comes thanks to modern hop varieties from North America, where these tales were first told.

Brothers Beer ? Hazesteria Hazy Pale Ale 4.6% 

There was a buzz around town. ?All I know is they used Heidleburg and Lager for malt? said a source close to the Brothers Beer crew. Soon people started gathering around the brewery on Akiraho Street. ?I heard they are doing it keg only? said one young punk. ?Citra? said a bearded beer geek. ?Loads of Citra on the dry hop?

The crowd grew. ?My friend?s friend works with a guy that knows the brewer? said a girl wearing Docs ?and he says they used Mosiac AND Motueka in the boil!?

A chant began: ?Hazy! Hazy! Hazy! HAZY!?

As if answering their call a light came shining out of the brewery.

The crowd stood as one and raised their hands to it.

Dive right into juicy stonefruit (nectarine) and citrus (lime) notes alongside delicate florals and a super sessionable finish.

Late hopped with Calypso, H?ll Melon and dry hopped with experiments 09326 and 13459 (USA).

Prepare to be spellbound by "The Mystic" embark on a journey of discovery with every sip of this Hazy NZ IPA which showcases stone fruits, tropical notes, and a resinous kick. Single-hopped with Nelson Sauvin, it offers big body and bold flavors with a distinct twist.

6.5% - Stein Bier

Red Rocks Reserve is one of our most anticipated annual releases. A base red ale is brewed and then with a nod to an ancient brewing technique known as 'Stein Bier', the beer is passed through a giant hop back containing rocks, super heated in a hard Manuka wood fire to over 500c. Finally, the beer is given an additional pass through a hop back stuffed full of whole cone Nelson Sauvin. The end result is a beer with rich juicy jam and toffee sweetness from all those caramelised sugars, layered with distinctive lush hop aroma. An old world brewing technique meets new world hops.

Swifty is named after the Swiftburn stream that flows through Royalburn Station in the South Island's high country, where our spray-free barley is grown. Brewed by the good folks at Garage Project, this is a Refreshing Beer. An uncomplicated, easy-drinking classic ale. You beauty.

NEW BREW | We blended Australian Eclipse and US Idaho 7 hops here for big clementine and lemon peel aroma and flavour over a moreish soft biscuit malt base and balanced bitterness. Otherworldly, some might say. We just call it bloody good IPA.

This juicy apple cider is a bright explosion of sun-kissed tropical flavours - a fresh-fruit cocktail of crushed pineapple with a twist of fresh lime and orange zest.  This one hits like a sunshower in a heatwave - bright, sparkling and dripping cool refreshment. The perfect summer companion, all year round!

Mon P?tit Chou - a term of endearment in French. 

Translated literally it means ?my little cabbage?. Made from 100% Belgian malt and French grown Strisselspalt hops, this farmhouse style ale has a fresh sherbet aroma, and a refreshing dry, tart, palate with just a hint of orange. 

There are no cabbages in the beer, but there is a lot of love.

Saison / Farmhouse Ale - 5% ABV

The real kicker with collabs is learning new things. For this beer with Cornwell based Verdant Brewing we chose classic Kiwi hops - big additions of Nelson Sauvin, mojito-like Motueka, tropical Moutere and a smooth bitterness from the piney Waimea. 

Then we applied the Verdant-way-of-doing-things including using their renowned yeast - a highly versatile strain with more body than typical IPA yeasts. The best of both worlds in this super juicy Hazy IPA.
