Swifty is named after the Swiftburn stream that flows through Royalburn Station in the South Island's high country, where our spray-free barley is grown. Brewed by the good folks at Garage Project, this is a Refreshing Beer. An uncomplicated, easy-drinking classic ale. You beauty.

This juicy apple cider is a bright explosion of sun-kissed tropical flavours - a fresh-fruit cocktail of crushed pineapple with a twist of fresh lime and orange zest.  This one hits like a sunshower in a heatwave - bright, sparkling and dripping cool refreshment. The perfect summer companion, all year round!

Originally bottled in 2018 this blend of mixed ferment oak barrels infused with rhubarb and strawberry was tucked away to condition and mellow. What happened next? Was it lost, was it misplaced or did it simply slip from our minds? ?Rediscovered? five years later, like a well aged wine the beer is transformed with the glow of french polished teak, mellow fruit and delightful sherry like complexity.

Mon P’tit Chou - a term of endearment in French. 

Translated literally it means “my little cabbage”. Made from 100% Belgian malt and French grown Strisselspalt hops, this farmhouse style ale has a fresh sherbet aroma, and a refreshing dry, tart, palate with just a hint of orange. 

There are no cabbages in the beer, but there is a lot of love.

Brett Grisette combines lemons, bay, and kawakawa with our house saison yeast and Brett C, the result is a refreshing , spicy and fruity farmhouse ale. sociable, sessionable taste of the old country .

Deep, dark toasty and vibrant caramel malts dominate this cascadian beauty. Displaying a lingering bitterness with hints of coffee and a creamy tan head, finishing with distinctive Northwest American hops.

Blackbeard Coffee Stout is a result of a long term relationship with our friends and neighbours from Little Drum Coffee. We used huge amounts of carefully hand selected Brazilian single origin coffee beans, along with dark speciality malts. To deliver espresso flavours and aromas with hints of bitter dark chocolate and toffee with medium but rich complex body.

A perfect beer to enjoy not only on colder winter nights but all year around, for all of the coffee and dark beer lovers out there!

Cabbages & Kings Stout 12%

The Walrus did beseech. Cabbages & Kings, Imperial Oyster Stout, brewed with the more or less willing assistance of ten dozen fresh Te Matua Bay Pacific oysters, Horopito and Manuka smoked malt. Dark, certainly - and rich with just a suggestion of brine, a touch of smoke and a hint of native New Zealand pepper leaf.
