He fell in with the Communists, seeing the revolution through and founding the “together in harmony” movement, better known by the name Gung Ho! For this version of our beloved Gung Ho! we’ve used the finest and freshest ‘wet hops’ from our sunny valleys in Tasman - picked fresh off the bine and carted straight to the brew kettle in 24 hours.

It sounds Japanese but it's as American as having a BMI of 32. The Yakima Valley in Washington state, situated in the top left corner of the lower 48, is home to some of our favourite hop varieties, the tiny green flavour bombs that powered the whole craft beer renaissance from the get go. Liberty is what it smells like.

A classic oatmeal stout dry hopped to fuck with the finest US grown Amarillo. Big Orange-citrus hop character, robust bitterness, classic coffee and cocoa.

Tantalize your taste buds with this refreshingly complex kettle sour. We?ve paired the tanginess of NZ raspberries with the rich depth of Ecuadorian cacao nibs to create a truly unique flavour experience.

Haze so thick, you can’t help but want to dive right in! Big Misty Hazy IPA delivers big fruit flavours, carefully balanced with punchy hop characteristics to bring you a remarkably refreshing brew!

Chilli Mexican Lager

Once a summer keg only creation, we now have so much demand that we decided to package this spicy delight.  Still made with local Gisborne corn, all NZ malts and then sat to rest on Fire Dragon chillies from Northland.  A refreshingly dry lager that has just a touch of fire and flavour from our mates up north.

ABV: 5.0%

A hallucinatory, mind-bending, consciousness-expanding, dream-like experience is not what you'll find in this can. It’s just a beer, man. But, this cloudy IPA does have a gnarly hit of Riwaka, Simcoe, and Mosaic hops, with a tropical citrus flavour, and a totally piney finish. At least it’s a trip for your taste-buds. Far out.

When you own a brewery you might as well name a beer after yourself, and you better make it a big American hopped Double IPA. The Big George is hopped with Citra and Ekanot, giving it a mighty pineapple and citrus tropical hit.

Much like the iconic Blowhole off Leisure Island here in Mt Maunganui this Pale Ale has been around a long time and is well known by locals. A sessionable balanced beer. Full of fruit aromas and flavours backed by a clean, crisp malt body.

Dunes is a vibrant, juicy Extra Pale Ale loaded with punchy citrus hop character from a stunning combo of NZ, US and AUS hops. Boasting an ultra-dry finish and sessionable 4% abv there's no better way to wind down after a day at the beach.

An American style barleywine with a robust hop profile. Complex toffee and caramel aromas from the rich malt backbone.
