Pale Ales are known for being aromatic with a balance of a lighter body with some maltiness and mellow bitterness.  Taking the concept from the Hazy IPAs we triple dryhopped our Sippin' on Sunshine to bring out the juiciness while having a lighter body and pleasant crisp finish.  Mosaic and Sultana hops contribute to tropical notes while NZ Southern Cross creates a refreshing lemon flavor!

Bootleg Brewing - Caesar said he wanted a tropical Indian Pale Ale to keep him happy and get the monkey off our back, we jammed this beer full of our favourite USA and Kiwi hops.  It bloody worked!

A crisp, bright Saison with a sunny disposition. Brewed with pilsner and rye malts and lightly spiced with White Pepper, Coriander and Meyer Lemon to bring a touch of sunshine, wherever you are.

Hazy IPA with Makrut Lime and Lemongrass

A hazy riff on on our classic Venusian inspired pale ale, this Phoenix Foundation collab is packed with Amarillo, Citra and Centennial hops and infused with Lemongrass and Makrut Lime Leaf. Exotic tropical fruit flavours for a true celebration of Friend Ship.

5.6% ABV.

YELLOWHAMMER

Bright and lively like a parrot, but small and ubiquitous like a sparrow, the Yellowhammer adds a flash of colour and a musical chirp to open spaces all over the country. The way it does a lot with just a little inspires our smooth and refreshing hazy pale ale, streaked with the striking tropical notes of Strata hops.

4.8% ABV.

Night Spirit Imperial Stout is a luscious black ale that has been aged more than 10 months in whisky casks that held very special NZ single malt whisky for more than 20 years. The casks have a great story to tell and amazing flavours to contribute to the beer.

Originally these American oak casks held American bourbon from J. T. S. Brown and Sons (now Heaven Hill) and were coopered in the early 1960’s. The resulting beer is deep, dark, and intense in flavour with notes of oak, roasted barley, black malts, vanilla, and whisky.
There were a very limited number of NZ Whiskey Co. barrels, and we can coax the whiskey character out of a barrel and into a beer only once. After that, the barrel may offer oak flavour, but the whiskey character is essentially lost. Each bottle is hand numbered. The 2017 release is sold out. Annual releases are planned for 2018 – 2021 and supply is very limited.

Count yourself fortunate if you are lucky enough to get your hands on some of these bottles. It is a unique experience which can’t be repeated and the beer will age gracefully for years. We expect the sweet spot to be around 3-5 years. Do not serve cold! Treat it like a port or red wine and serve it in an elegant glass.

12% ABV.

Like Slacklining styling a sour beer requires superb balance.  Too far in either direction and it's not going to end well.

The tartness of this kettle-soured Gose (that's pronounced "Goes-uh") is balanced by the tropical combo of mango and guava and a dose of sea salt.

Not too sour and not too salty, Slackline Mango and Guava is simply a beautifully refreshing drop!

Imagine a world without flavour. It'd be almost as bad as a world without beer. Well you're in luck. This lager is literally bursting with hop-fuelled taste. It's been created by people inspired and obsessed with keeping the flame alive. Enjoy our handiwork.

Pale Ale’s distinct hoppy flavour comes from a judicious blend of four local hop varieties, and the two selected malts contribute to its appealing colour. Its clean, fresh eagerness is tempered by a subtle sweetness and rounded off with a satisfying, lasting finish. A youthful member of the larger, wide-ranging family of pale ales, this is one of our most-popular beers.

Baylands - Like Slacklining, styling a sour beer requires superb balance.  Too far in either direction and it's not going to end well.

This kettle-soured Boysenberry Gose features boysenberries from Hawke's Bay and pink Himalayan sea salt.

Not too sour and not too salty, it's simply a beautifully refreshing drop.  And did we say pink? Oh yeah, it's definitely pink!

4% ABV.

This English ale was born mature. Because even when it was new, it was Old 95. Full-bodied, with delicious toffee malt sweetness, and a lingering balanced bitterness, it's a recipe that gives new beers a run for their money.

So, sit down in your favourite old chair, put on your favourite old slippers, and pour your favourite Old 95.

BIRDSEYE

Our feathered friends see the world differently. Through birds’ eyes, things might look almost psychedelic to us, with heightened colours and fresh hues forming a surprising new spectrum. This hazy, citrus and stonefruit accented IPA with a mellow, soft and silky texture gives a similarly refreshing change of perspective.

5.8% ABV.

LEMON, COIANDER  SEED, WHITE PEPPER SAISON

Tantric Haze Hazy IPA was brewed to be as tantalizing and as rich of an experience possible. We knew we needed overwhelming fruity aromas so decided to ensure this had a massive double whirlpool hopping followed by a triple dryhopping starting on the first day of fermentation and continuing throughout until our yeasts had given all they could. 

We wanted a soft and supple bitterness that was enough to balance but gentle and forgiving thus we massaged our water chemistry. We didn't want to overpower the aroma and flavour the hops had to give, thus did not add any hops for the bittering into the boil. 

Lastly we needed a yeast that had the power to biotransform the massive hop quantities into a bold rich juiciness. Any element by itself is not standalone worthy but altogether combine into this sensually hazy IPA that we believe will deliver you an experience of love and enjoyment!
