What is a table beer? 

Brewed to be lighter in alcohol, this sparkling farmhouse style ale has been aged in oak and lightly dry hopped with Wai-iti and Pacifica creating a beer that is dry, crisp and ever so slightly tart. It just might be the most refreshing thing you've put in your mouth. 

Great with food or for any time you feel like a thirst quenching beer without the heavy alcohol. Table, table here we come.

4.5% ABV

Intensely rich with a velvety texture, our Double Cream Milk Stout contains a non-fermentable lactose sugar derived from 100% pure NZ milk. 

 Layering dark mocha, chocolate and liquorice aromatics, this creamy brew offers a luxurious drinking experience.

Obsidian-black with a velvety, tan head, our Milk Stout is traditionally brewed with non-fermentable lactose sugar for a luscious, full-bodied mouthfeel. Aromas of bittersweet chocolate, dried fruits, and bold coffee-and-cream flavours all descend on the senses, while soft roasted-malt bitterness keeps the sweetness in check.  Welcome to the dark side of craft beer. North End Brewing - Farmhouse brewers in Wallonia on the Belgian - French border produce incredibly complex and yet refreshing beers that combine spicy yeast cultures and light acidity.  We took these elements of Farmhouse brewing and combined them with locally grown Te Horo Blackberries to create an incredible fruity, tart and refreshing beer.  We think it's the perfect match to ripe Camembert and cured meats.

7.1% ABV.

Once upon a time in rural Shropshire one member of the village would ritually take on the sins of the recently deceased by drinking ale and eating food over the departed’s body. These ‘sin eaters’ would have been drinking mild ale, so in collaboration with our Shropshire born friends at Small Gods we decided to brew a malty, tawny, mild ale with a decent dose of oats.

Biscuity pilsner malt and distinctive Motueka and Riwaka hops bringing aromas of lemon and lime. Nelson Sauvin for a tart gooseberry hit. Straw coloured appearance, brilliantly clear, with a long lasting white head. Crisp and bitter. Medium dry finish.

4.8% ABV. 

Pale golden colour with a foamy white head. Light biscuity malt notes carry the hops. A mix of American Citra and NZ Cascade hops give the beer a bright and vibrant citrus burst. Crisp and drinkable. Lower in alcohol than most IPAs.

5.8% ABV

Refreshingly uncomplicated.

A Classic lager brewed with New Zealand’s distinctive and underappreciated Green Bullet hop.

4.5% ABV. 

Oud Bruin, the traditional brown ale of Flemish Belgium, here painstakingly recreated and lovingly tended by Dave Bell, our Wild Workshop brewer.  Prolonged ageing in wood with a blend of yeasts and Lactobacillus creates a beer bursting wit dark sour cherry and dried fruit flavours, topped off with coffee and chocolate notes.  Dark and complex, a little bit like our Dave.  

Ask not for whom the Bell toils, he toils for thee.

7.7% ABV.

Classic Lager Taste. Half the size. Meet 2.3% ABV Northern Light Vienna Lager. Crisp lager profile upfront with cracker-like aroma. It drinks smooth & hits above its weight with a surprisingly full body for such a low ABV beer. Toasty & bready malt palate hints of biscuits to a clean, dry finish with just enough bitterness to keep it refreshing.

Session Lager - 2.6% ABV

Tropical lightly malted base with fresh tropical notes.

4.5% ABV.

Not all days are for going BIG! When in the mood for something light in Alc/Vol, but full of flavour, our EddyLite Pale ale is the ticket! This double dryhopped session pale ale is sure to please!

2.5% ABV.

Pale Ales are known for being aromatic with a balance of a lighter body with some maltiness and mellow bitterness.  Taking the concept from the Hazy IPAs we triple dryhopped our Sippin' on Sunshine to bring out the juiciness while having a lighter body and pleasant crisp finish.  Mosaic and Sultana hops contribute to tropical notes while NZ Southern Cross creates a refreshing lemon flavor!
