Tasting notes:  Nose is "vanilla lemon cake." The palate is a balance of caramel, vanilla, spices and citrus. I'm not sure if they made the opulent bottle to match the Whiskey or vice versa.

The first new Makers Mark recipe for at least 50 years, Maker's 46 is named for the number of different wood 'recipes' they tried before getting it right.
