It’s an esoteric twist fusing hazy double IPA with foeder aged Wild Workshop beer in a beautiful union of sweet and sour, where the elevated aromatics of Motueka, Mosaic & NZ Cascade fuse with rich tropical fruit and juicy tart citrus. 14.7% - Barrel Aged Rye Wine

Rye, it's a bastard to brew with, but it's worth it. This imperial strength rye blond, aged for three years in freshly emptied American bourbon barrels, pushes the boundries of what a beer can be. Velvet smooth, with the heat and vanilla-wood depth of a spirit, this brew is intentionally brewed with low carbonation and is best savoured unchilled. Enjoy with caution.

The Garage Project are known for their outrageously flavoured and spectacularly branded beers. BEER marks a profound and deliberate departure from the plan with its straightforward generically branded can and straight up Czech Pilsner inside. Herbal,crisp and refreshing, BEER was made for summer.

Bine Mind, punchy unfiltered IPA, brewed with absurd quantities of freshly picked Nectaron and Rakau cones for a complex blend of pine resin, stonefruits and bright citrus lemon kush. Get your head in the hop field.

Black BEER - BEER, but darker. 4.8%

Exactly as it sounds. Water, malt, hops, yeast. Still simple, just dark. Brewed with a comforting bounty of Gladfield Pilsner, Munich and Chit malts. Sometimes simple is exactly what you want.

8.0% - Smoked Maple Pecan Dessert Stout

It’s the perfect fit. Black Denim Imperial Stout, brewed with seven malts including oats, wheat, chocolate, crystal and a delicate touch of manuka smoke, infused with maple syrup and toasted pecans. Rich, dark and decadently delicious mix of caramel malt and maple sweetness, with delicate nut and balanced roast. Time to pop that top button.

8.0% - Imperial Milk Stout

Full Cream Imperial Milk Stout. Plump Autumn barley, velvety oats, crystal and the darkest black malts, topped off with a decadent addition of creamy lactose milk sugar. We’ve brewed up a pitch perfect balance of delicate dark roast and smooth milk chocolate mocha sweetness. Pure, dark, delicious indulgence.

Hours of gameplay got you here, a grind of low level IPA’s. Now you’ve reached the Boss Level. This is no battle for a raw recruit. This is Ultra IPA - five different US hop varieties, 100 IBU’s and a massive malt grist to match - a can load of weaponised hop firepower. Warning - proceed with the utmost caution. 

Lower your guard and it’ll be game over man, game over.

Double IPA - 8.5% ABV

14.0% - Bourbon Barrel Aged Barleywine

Delayed gratification can be hard work. Hellbender Barleywine, a beer this big only gets better with age, but holding back ain?t easy. Problem solved, we?ve aged it for you. Five years in bourbon oak barrels have created a beer of astounding complexity and depth. Well worth the wait.

7.8% - Sunny Belgian Blonde Ale

Take a walk on the sunny side of the street. Brightside Belgian style blonde ale. A deceptively simple blend of Pilsner, candy sugar, Saphir hops and a special yeast strain creates a distinctly complex and deliciously drinkable golden ale with restrained spice, floral notes and a hint of bubblegum. Always look on the bright side.

Cabbages & Kings Stout 12%

The Walrus did beseech. Cabbages & Kings, Imperial Oyster Stout, brewed with the more or less willing assistance of ten dozen fresh Te Matua Bay Pacific oysters, Horopito and Manuka smoked malt. Dark, certainly - and rich with just a suggestion of brine, a touch of smoke and a hint of native New Zealand pepper leaf.

Oud Bruin, the traditional brown ale of Flemish Belgium, here painstakingly recreated and lovingly tended by Dave Bell, our Wild Workshop brewer.  Prolonged ageing in wood with a blend of yeasts and Lactobacillus creates a beer bursting wit dark sour cherry and dried fruit flavours, topped off with coffee and chocolate notes.  Dark and complex, a little bit like our Dave.  

Ask not for whom the Bell toils, he toils for thee.

Cereal Milk. Let's be honest, it's the best bit of breakfast in a bowl.

 Here in this beer we've combined this creamy comfort food with the rich, roast character of the milk stout. Brewed with corn flakes, oats, chocolate wheat and a generous dose of milk sugar, Cereal Milk Stout is rich, smooth and redolent of the sweet remnants of the breakfast bowl. Grab a spoon and dig in.
