Gouden Carolus Hopsinjoor completes the taste pallet of the gamma Carolus-beers. Four types of hops are used, fractioned at several times in the cooking process in order to keep a maximum of aroma. Regarding to taste we can say that the beer has a gentle, but nevertheless bitter aftertaste. Gold-yellow colour. Hoppy aroma.

Blonde with copper reflections, topped with a generous head, Hopus derives from a secret batch brewed for the marriage of Paul Lefebvre. It has a unique and original nose, a blend of vegetal, citrus and fruit notes. The attack is bold, with an intense bitterness accompanied by a plethora of hopped notes. On the palate, the fruity top-fermented aromas and the malted flavours perfectly balance the initial taste without masking it. The bitter aftertaste is persistent but not disturbing, powerful but not overwhelming, elegant but not opulent…in short, the perfect preparation for the next mouthful. Drink very cold as an aperitif with crisps and pickles, as an accompaniment to a spicy dish or as an after-dinner digestive

A fruity beer with a pure, fresh taste of cherries, sour flavours and a superb balance between the fruity and sour notes. The initial slightly sour taste, enhanced by the tannins in the cherry pips, flows into a mildly fruity aftertaste that lingers for a while.

Mort Subite Kriek is brewed according to the ancestral lambic recipe. This original Belgian beer ferments spontaneously. Enriched with cherries, it matures soft and slowly in oaken casks. To be served cool.

Brewed longer to enhance the flavors, this Munich Dunkel-style Lager gives way to a rich flavor and remarkably smooth taste. Modelo Negra contains Water, Barley Malt, Non-malted Cereals and Hops.

Since 1822, Lindemans has been making traditional lambic brewing into an art form.  One of their finest products, the Old Kriek Cuvée René, is the result of a 3-year refermentation process.  The wild yeasts in the air of Pajottenland, water, malted barley, wheat, and aged hop flowers all contribute to the intriguing and complex palate of this noble beer.  A traditional kriek, brewed with whole krieken cherries that account for its powerful and fresh taste.

La Trappe Dubbel is a classic, dark Trappist ale with a full malty, caramel-sweet taste and a subtle influence of dates, honey and dried fruits.

Menabrea is matured gently in the perfect temperature of our cave cellars for a taste of superior clarity. This 4.8% ABV pale lager is well balanced between citrus, bitter tones and floral, fruity undertones giving a consistent and refined flavour. It has a complicated malty, hoppy taste with an exceptional head retention due to the quality of our ingredients and maturation process.

From the cherry tree’s transient flowers, its fruits ripen – round, red and packed with sunshine. Timmermans Kriek blends its famed lambic with this sweetness for a beer that can quench any thirst. Its natural freshness will make you blush for joy.

Its flavour is all cherry, as is already apparent from its very powerful nose. Its acidity is neutralised by its agreeably sweet and fruity bouquet. Its taste pervades the mouth and lingers gently, elegantly tinted with summer cherries.

Wipers Times Blond (formerly known as Wipers Times 14) is a blond beer of high fermentation, brewed with 4 grains, 4 herbs and only local hops.

The name of the beer is a reference to the ‘trench gazette’ which was printed in the ‘Kazematten’ by British Soldiers during the First World War. It was printed on a printing press they salvaged from the ruins of the destroyed city of Ypres. Wipers is the nickname soldiers gave to the city of Ypres, deliberately mispronounced as Wipers.

One of the herbs that is used to flavor the beer is the seed of the medicinal Saint Mary’s Thistle, also called ‘blessed thistle’. This thistle can be found on the front page of the newspaper and on the label of the beer. 14 stands for the density of the beer (14° Plato)

Championing the choice as kiwi cone Motueka - here we've used our hand-selected Freestyle Mid-late harvest Motueka, Sunshine Valley low-temp kilned Motueka, and Motueka SubZero Hop Kief™ extract to capture all that bright intensity Mot gives. We then superchargered this DIPA by utilising a  Thiol-activated yeast strain in conjunction with a double dose of Mega Motueka™  and a top off of new fandangled Motueka HYPERBOOST™ courtesy of YCH - Tu meke!
