Unit price perLong before hops were common in most beers, various fruits and vegetables were used to season beers. The acidity of Lambic beers blends perfectly with raspberries. Taste: Magnificent aroma, delicate palate of raspberries with undertones of fruity acidity; elegant, sparkling clean natural taste.
Profound raspberry and sugar aroma. Plum and pink color with thin head and decent lacing. Malty intro with some carbonation evident in the mouth. Initial raspberry flavor is subtle and smooth on the tongue but soon becomes bittersweet in the aftertaste. Made a raspberry shortcake once with this beer and raspberries and it was pretty good!

Unit price perOrval is characterised by a fruity, earthy and slightly acidic bouquet. Its flavours are complex with distinct hoppy bitterness and a long, dry finish. Like all Trappist ales, Orval is sold only to fund the monastery itself and other charitable endeavors.
Pours cloudy orange with a thick, creamy off-white head. The smell is of lemon peel, tartness, and spicy sourdough. The taste is unique and complex. Unit price perDelirium Tremens' brother, Delirium Nocturnum, is a darker style of Belgian ale from the Huyghe Brewery, featuring more robust notes of well-roasted malt at its core. As ever, it comes in their unique bottles with the very cool labels...
Plenty of the fruit notes from the Delirium Tremens can be found here, namely banana and ripe pear, but now it's joined by a generous helping of chocolate malt goodness. Bitterness is more restrained than the Tremens, too. More focus is put on the caramel sweetness and vibrant fruit.

Unit price perWestmalle Tripel is a clear, golden yellow Trappist beer that undergoes a secondary fermentation in the bottle (9,5% alcohol). It is a complex beer with a fruity aroma and a nice nuanced hop scent. It is soft and creamy in the mouth, with a bitter touch carried by the fruity aroma. An exceptional beer, with a great deal of finesse and elegance. And with a splendid long aftertaste.
The Westmalle Tripel is indeed called the "mother of all tripels." This type of beer was first brewed in Westmalle abbey in 1934 when the new brewing hall came into use. The current formula has stayed practically unchanged since 1956, thus more than 50 years.
