The Sawmill Aotearoa series is about celebrating the best of New Zealand! 

This month we teamed up with Brave Brewing Co to celebrate what they do best - bold brilliant IPAs. It’s a meeting of minds, brewed with respect and a whole lot of hops. 

NZH-106, Nelson Sauvin and Kohatu hops give this IPA passionfruit, tropical and a winey aroma. A clean, crisp flavour with a full-bodied fruity finish. 

Here’s to New Zealand brewers, standing behind every good beer.

4.7% - Our Mango & Jalapeño Salsa Sour is a bold burst of tropical sunshine with a spicy green twist. Juicy mango lays down lush, fruity layers while a trio of jalapeño, cucumber & lime adds a crisp, complex green heat that lingers just right. Its tangy profile elevates the interplay of fruit & spice into something effortlessly drinkable yet richly nuanced.

SoCal Low Carb Hazy Pale Ale 4.5% - 330ml Cans

From boardwalk to boulevard, SoCal has it all - bright lights, golden sand, glamour and tranquility in equal measure. This beer takes you to each corner of SoCal with bright notes of zesty lime, grapefruit and citrus balanced by rich summer aromatics of ripe apricots and peaches from the Wai-iti and Amarillo hops. Smooth and juicy, this easy-drinking beer is a shining tribute to the Golden State.

Tasting Note: Prejudice Ginger Biscuit IPA isn’t just a beer—it’s a warm, spicy bite of nostalgia in every sip. Imagine your favourite ginger biscuit, fresh out of the oven, perfectly crunchy, and laced with that unmistakable blend of sweet spice. Now, picture that moment wrapped up in a hoppy IPA that packs a punch with its bold, citrusy hops and a subtle malty backbone.

Revenant IPA has full-bodied flavor from rich Pale malts generating a light amber hue. A blend of Simco and Citra hops to generate a unique and lively citrus aroma and flavor. This is a very refreshing IPA suitable for hopheads and everyone else, as well.

Slightly carbonated, but hugely pungent. A tropical three-hoppy blend with notes of citrus, stone fruit and resinous bitterness. Enjoy this awe-inspiring sting.

You may be thinking, there is honey in this Session IPA. HA! Nada! Nasi putih! Sorry, mate. After we played the Jackass movies all the way through, in honor of the stupidest game ever invented, we named our beer after it. Lightly carbonated, but hugely pungent. A tropical three-hoppy blend with notes of citrus, stone fruit and resinous bitterness. Enjoy this awe-inspiring sting. But Beehive Tetherball? No goos, #NeverClever! Don't try this at home.

3.9% ABV

Combing a cool lager fermentation, and a mixture of striking aromatic hops from Germany, NZ and the Czech Republic. Fervour is tropical, citrus tinged and smashable.

A big, bold, Hazy Double IPA, with intense citrus and tropical flavours, and gooseberry and grape aromas. At 7.8% ABV it's a good one to share, perhaps with one of your Nice friends.

We hereby inform you that you are now on the official Naughty List. The mere act of lifting this can is more than enough - whether you drink it or not. Yes, all that good behaviour (ahem) is out the window. So, you may as well indulge in the big  bold, intensely tropical flavours of this Double IPA, while inhaling the gooseberry and grape aromas. Don’t worry, though, you are in good company.
