The beer that built a brewery. This is an all NZ hopped English style IPA where the ABV is lower and the malt presence is higher than other more modern counterparts. Orange brown pour with a dense white head and a medley of NZ hop aromas. Some caramel meldanoidins back up this aroma and deliver the toasty, malty palate of the english style. Medium to full body with an assertive bitterness.

Every year on his birthday, we release a Belgian style beer in his honour. This one's a Quadrupel. A strong dark ale fermented using belgian yeast, with cherry, clove, dried fruit flavours and a spicy finish. Sometimes we drink to remember.
