inspired by the wild iron-rich beaches of the west coast we devised a smooth warming stout that combines oats, caramelised rye, and chocolate wheat malt with our fruity English yeast strain and some lightly zesty Nelson hops. The result is a stout fit to fortify against wild west coast winter storms and the perfect match to a night beside the fire.

Chris & his Q’town crew host this toasty event to celebrate the NZIPA style & inject a bit of cockle-warming camaraderie into the launch of winter. Fittingly stuffed with a trifecta of NZ hop grandeur, this one drips with Eggers X Riwaka from Eggers Hops in tandem with Waimea West Nectaron + Nelson Bliss from Freestyle Hops. Emerald Dreams — What better ride to represent our fresh hop drop for 2025. So dank and so green with stonefruit and citrus deliciousness, this NZIPA gets the best out of the mythical 109, with Nectaron, Rakau and Mot hops also making noise straight from the bine.

Farm Hand returns to further explore the idea of what a beer grown close to home can be. Brewed with Canyon Grown Pilsner malt, loaded with Garston Motueka, and sweetened with Cardrona honey straight from the farm hives. Rosehips and wild flowering thyme, create a citrus–forward beer lifted by floral eucalyptus and underpinned with subtle spice. A truly unique beer shaped by its surroundings – bold, fresh, and unmistakably Canyon.

Not all days are for going BIG! When in the mood for something light in Alc/Vol, but full of flavour, our EddyLite Pale ale is the ticket! This double dryhopped session pale ale is sure to please!

Panhead - Pours pale gold like dawn on a summers day. It’s also a bit hazy obviously. Citrus and tropical aromas come jumping out of the glass with orange, mango and stonefruit notes all along for the ride. A soft and silking mouthfeel with more of those juicy fruit notes is balanced but a pithy grapefruit zest bitterness and clean refreshing finish.

A stout brewed with the addition of lactose sugar and a small dose of Dominican cacao nibs during fermentation.  The result is deliciously balanced, soft and creamy, with a toasty, dark chocolate finish.

Hatsukoi, meaning first love, is a Japanese inspired pilsner hat debuted during our Tokyo Taphouse pop up restaurant at 91 Aro Street. Brewed with light malted barley and rice using the traditional first press method. Clean, crisp with a delicate noble hop character.

Japanese Rice Lager - 5.5%

From the depths of the loch rises the prehistoric Choc Ness Monster. Sightings are rare, but we can confirm that Nessie boasts a rich chocolate base and a thick, mocha head, with underlying nougat sweetness. A mythical beast with an undeniable sweet tooth.
