Beautiful complex pink wine with a little barrel fermentation adding depth and body to this wine. It's one of the best pinkies from the deep south and utterly delicious. 

This is New Zealand's smallest and one of its coolest climate wine regions. It typically produces high quality, delicate and silky Pinot Noirs, and this rose is made 100% from Pinot grapes, which were lightly pressed to provide a minimala pale pink hue to this lively fresh, dry and full bodied wine. 

Greystone is one of North Canterbury's wine stars situated on the slopes of limestone rich hills in Omihi. All of the grapes that go into Greystone wines are 100% certified organic with BioGro NZ and all are estate grown. No additional fruit is purchased to supplement production, which is one of many incremental steps that go into Greystone's high quality wines.

This pretty pale pink rose is made from 100% organic Pinot Noir. Aromas are plentiful with red berries, cream, brioche and lingering mineral notes. Summer berries and tropical notes flow through to the palate, finishing with focused acidity.

About Greystone

The Greystone wine story began in 2000 when the Thomas Family bought an old sheep farm on the Omihi hills in the Waipara Valley, North Canterbury. The rolling limestone hills lured this family in and their goal was a single minded one: to make great wines from the limestone rich soils here. Fast forward 20 years and Greystone is one of the great (and, some might say, yet to be fully discovered) wineries in this outstanding wine region. Not least due to the work of winemaker Dom Maxwell and general manager Nick Gill, who began working together in 2005 and has grown along with the brand and quality. 

The family owned Beach House Wines turns out an impressive range of wines, including this super refreshing rose, which is made in a dry style with minimal skin contact to provide a pale colour, which is currently the trend in international roses. 

This is a fresh, dry, fruit driven red with a crisp finish. Great for a summer day or a winter's afternoon. 

Dry delicious Hawke's Bay rose is one of this country's most under rated pink wines and this beautiful medium bodied version is a stellar example. Try it, preferably with a great cheese alongside.

Dry and deliciously good Kiwi roses don't get this good very often. If you notice Whitehaven Rose is paler pink than previously, it is and this wine also happens to be the driest style ever made, with under one gram of residual sugar per litre. It's made from earlier picked Pinot Noir grapes to retain fresh acidity. Minimum skin contact time provides a pale colour a lively red fruit flavours with a long finish.

The story of Whitehaven Wines

Whitehaven Wines began life in 1994 as a romantic business for a couple of corporate escapees, Sue and Greg White, who had given up life in the rat race of Auckland for another kind of life aboard their yacht. When sailing around the country, they took shelter in the Marlborough Sounds from Pacific storms and fell in love with the region. An easy thing to do when harbouring in the spectacularly pristine waters of the Sounds. They decided to settle there on terra firma once more and try their hands at wine production, hiring a winemaker and beginning a business which has now been around for 26 years. Greg has sadly passed away now, leaving a legacy as well as his wife and daughter, Sam, to run the winery.

Showing a gentle blush of colour, this Rose is both charming and pretty, yet still offers great structure and drive. With initial hints of watermelon and pink rosebud florals the nose then opens to reveal wild strawberries and cream. The palate is crisp and vibrant with delicate red fruits, an elegant dry palate and juicy fruit acidity that leaves the month revived and thirsty for more. Certified organic. - Fromm

Home Fields operates from their original vineyard, planted in 1993, plus four additional lease vineyards.  The yield potential is approximately 50 tonnes, the majority of which being Pinot Noir, with several tonnes each of Chardonnay, Syrah and Pinot Gris.

For this wine the Pinot Noir grapes were lightly pressed, separated from skins and fermented to “dry” over ten days. 

Tasting
In the bottle, flavours offer a mix of strawberry with tangerine / grapefruit citrus notes. Tannins and acid lend body to the wine. 

Rose is on a rise and this one was made entirely from Pinot Noir grapes grown on two vineyards in Bannockburn; Muirkirk and Felton Road. 

Lively, refreshing, dry and light in body as well as colour which comes from gentle whole bunch pressing over five hours to retain a little colour. The juice was fermented in stainless steel at ambient temperatures with wild yeasts, which add a savoury tang to the fresh summer berry flavours of strawberries and raspberries, intertwined with the freshness that gentle acidity brings to this wine.

A very special Pinot Noir with earthy aromas and fresh mushroom meets red cherry flavours, made from grapes grown on a 0.8 hectare hillside of limestone laden land on the road to Castlepoint in the Wairarapa. 

Winemaker Raffael Burki (hence the name 'B' on the label) produces this exceptional Pinot Noir from the Lime Hill Vineyard and it is a sister wine to the Johner Lime Hill Pinot Noir.

Balanced and spicy wine with flavours of red berries, such as ripe strawberries and raspberries. The flavour has hints of ginger and nougat, which is complemented by a nuanced finish that also gives a hint of coffee beans. Delicate tones of chocolate lie and play in the background.

Moy Hall in Martinborough is an eight hectare vineyard with a restaurant and cellar door on site. It was purchased by Phil and Carolyn McArthur, who produce wine and employ a professional chef to produce some of the wine village's finest food for day time dining. 

Aromas of strawberry and red floral notes, such as old fashioned roses, combine in this wine which is made from 88% Pinot Noir (all handpicked, gently crushed, and cool pressed) blended with 12% Syrah (also handpicked and whole-bunch pressed).
