Elevated over 15 years of maturation in European oak sherry casks and a process notable for its continuous movement, VAT 03 distinctly embodies the Glenfiddich pioneering spirit. Resulting from Solera VAT 3, this silky-smooth full-bodied whisky harmoniously combines warm notes of spice with hints of nutty marzipan and dark sherry oak. A sherried Glenfiddich originally released for the distillery's travel exclusive Perpetual collection, this single malt was aged in Spanish Sherry casks. Intriguingly, only half the whisky in the vat is bottled before it's refilled with fresh spirits, in the style of classic Spanish sherry soleras, meaning there is always a well-balanced mix of well-aged and young whisky.

Polished leather, freshly-baked fruitcake, bittersweet marmalade, and toasted oak on the nose.

The palate is silky, sweet, and spicy, with peppery fresh oak, cigar box, and well-toasted bread.

Candied peels, treacle, and a good whack of cinnamon on the finish

This special release from Benriach is the first expression in a century to be produced entirely using barley malted from Benriach's historic floor maltings. This whisky has been matured in both bourbon and virgin oak barrels. This brings out notes of barley sugar, almond fudge, orchard apples, vanilla and honeyed pear. A long lasting finish is full of malty notes.

This bottling has been matured in re-charred Bourbon barrels and is light and fruity through and through. The nose is vibrant and refreshing with notes of zesty citrus, moving to sweet raisins covered in chocolate. The sweetness piles on the palate with creamy vanilla custard and marzipan. Finally, delicate creme brulee light pear drops and lemon fondant send this lovely light dram on its way.

This unrivalled single malt matures for at least 18 years in the highest quality, handpicked oak casks, which creates a radiant golden colour and seductive floral and oaky aroma.

Deeply layered and complex, this rich and vibrant whisky delivers beautifully intricate flavours of malted caramel, vanilla, and raisins and lingers with a long, sweet, and pleasantly spicy finish.

The well-balanced initial nose is characterized by notes of caramel and bitter orange. Allowed to breathe, it becomes exotic (mango, guava) and spicy (pepper, cinnamon). The deep attack is nobly malty and lush (rosemary, thyme). Red fruit (Morello cherry, pomegranate) brings freshness to the end of the palate. The silky finish is vanilla and herbaceous (gentian). The retro- nasal olfaction is tertiary (mushroom, date, tobacco).

This Glen Elgin Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a classic Speysider with a fuller body than most and an inherently luscious fruit character. This is a rare Sauternes Cask finish, distilled in June 2008 and bottled in August 2021.

Colour: Bright Gold.
Nose: Intensely sweet honey covered yellow stone fruits with bold floral notes.
Palate: The sweetness of the Sauternes wine is carried well on the palate alongside a touch of aniseed, buttery bakes and dark honey.
Finish: Long and lip-smackingly sweet.

The heavy new-make style of Aultmore lends itself perfectly to Sherry cask maturation and here is whisky from this very distillery, distilled in October 2011 and bottled in August 2021, that spent its entire maturation in a first-fill Oloroso Sherry Butt made from American (not the typical Spanish) Oak.

Colour: Burnished Copper.

Nose: Creamy mocha, barley sugar, dark fruits and butterscotch.

Palate: Condensed milk, fresh roasted Arabica coffee beans, California raisins and peanut brittle.

Finish: Mouth-filling and sweet with a creaminess that lingers long.

Benromach Cara Gold Malt is a limited release made using a combination of Cara Gold malted barley and our standard lightly peated malt. Matured in first-fill bourbon barrels, it offers perfumed and tropical fruit notes, leading to pepper and toasted malt with a hint of butterscotch, and a vibrant, sweet smoke finish.

Aged for at least a quarter of a century in ex-bourbon American oak casks, this Speyside single malt is a gentle giant. Floral and fruity with a touch of spice

This limited edition Tomintoul has spent the last 18 months of its 12 year maturation in Olorose Sherry casks which has given it a well rounded, creamy richness whilst staying true to its soft style.

Bottled from a refill hogshead at 46%.

Polished copper colour. Orange cake, juicy malt then fruit mince pie and gobstopper. Aeration adds oatmeal biscuit to the aroma list. Almost chewy in texture - a sublime harmony of honeyed malt and light Christmas pudding at mid palate; then buttered raisin bread, followed by hints of caramel fudge and grassy freshness late in the fade. Woody to end, though still good vibrancy. Distinguished by its subtle staying power.

Bright polished gold in colour.

The nose shows bright vanilla syrup and poached pears, dusted with sweet barley grist, that combine with oak spice and candied peel to create a warm contrast.

Ripe yellow plums and nectarines on the palate infuse with vanilla, ginger and tangerine peel leading to wild flower honey and stewed barley 

The finish is exceptionally luscious and long with rich, dark sugars and warm oak spice thanks to the dark rum cask. A truly exceptional example of the marriage between cask, maturation and spirit.
