Inspired by dry rosé this is a beer that tastes like wine!
A very light malt base keeps malt flavours and colour to a minumum. Kettle souring overnight gives a wine-like tart acidity and a dry hop of German Hallertau Blanc hops gives grape flavours. Strawberry puree was added to give fruity complexity (and colour!) and a long cooler ferment and lagering process gives a clean crisp finish reminiscent of the dry minerally finish found in dry rosé wine.

Rodenbach Vintage is a unique, unblended Flanders Red-Brown ale beer that is matured in oak casks for 2 years. Only the best casks are used, after which I subject the beer to a strict sampling selection. Rodenbach Vintage has a uniquely balanced acidic taste and a long, fresh and fruity aftertaste.

Low Bro -Tropical Chilli Sour 2.5%

Howdy partner, are you ready to buck up and double down? This hombre is taking all the flavours of the big dawgs and dropping it low. The juicy tropical fruit of mango and passion fruit combined with the kick of habanero chillis to kick it up a notch! 

Flavours: Pilsner malt, wheat, oats and a bit of Gladiator malts kettler soured to kick up the mouth feel and match the punch from the passion fruit, mango and habaneros!

Terroir Blend is based on the Megablend from Belgium. It is the expression of one year old spontaneously fermented 'Lambic style' beer from multiple breweries. We are excited that there are quite a few other brewers in NZ now brewing spontaneously fermented beers.
This is a blend of one-year-old 'spon' from Cell Division (Dunedin), Wilderness (Christchurch) and Craftwork.

Food pairing: sliced apples. Mussels, waterzooi, Thai green curry, strong goat’s cheese, fish, bread and butter.

This blend is a 'Gueuze-style' blending of a barrel each of Ninebarnyardowls 2- and 3- year-old and two barrels of our 1-year-old.

What’s a gooseberry? NZ’s famous flightless fruit, stolen from China in 1904.

Makes for a electrifying sensational sour, all wrapped in a fluffy lime jacket.

Yet again, a classic DVB bear-beer pun. The goals aside from fun and flavour? We wanted a sour beer that would be just as good for Winter as Summer. Cola seemed like a great direction for an abstract and fun challenge, so we got our thinking caps on and the result is an adult version of that familiar flavour we all know and love!

Pink Lemonade Sour, 4.20%
The perfect beer when you want something that tastes “nothing like a fucking beer!?” according to your uncle. Pours a strange pink colour and tastes like you fucked up making raspberry lemonade by leaving out the sugar.

8.8% - Cherry Infused Spontaneous Blend

An artful blend of 2 and 4 year old 100% spontaneously fermented beer, aged in oak then refermented on Montmorency cherries from sunny Oamaru. The result is a stunningly colourful, beautifully balanced, aromatic beer with delightful tart cherry notes and a superbly dry finish. The result of a lot of hard work, and a little chance, luck and magic.

Some things just go together.Beer and Pizza.Chimichangas and Adamantium.Raspberry and Mango.We took this perfect fruit combo and tossed it into a pool of kettle soured BerlinerWeisse, with its complex wild lacto strain that?s harder to kill than a wolverine.They bonded like brothers from another mother to produce a delicious fruit sourwith that X factor. LFG!
