Southward Distilling Co. - There is a place where adventure starts.  This wild place is the inspiration for our distillery.  Made up of garden grown, wild and traditional botanicals. We are a modern take on distilling inspired by the wild beauty of New Zealand.

Ink Gin is a premium dry gin made with 13 organic botanicals, including a mix of traditional and Australian natives. Like all true gins, juniper berries are the largest botanical component, however the defining character of Ink Gin comes from the second tier botanicals led by locally grown lemon myrtle leaf, coriander seed, Tasmanian pepper berry and freshly peeled sundried sweet orange peel. 

These major ingredients give Ink Gin its fresh piney, spicy and citrusy aroma and flavour. The third group of minor botanicals include elderflower, cinnamon, cardamom, angelica root, oris root, licorice root and lemon peel. Like a pinch of salt, these minor ingredients are critical to the end result adding perfume, body and balance. 

The final ingredient is added in a post-distillation infusion. The specially prepared petals of the butterfly pea flower are steeped in the still for twenty-four hours to give Ink Gin its distinctive colour.

Pure Cane is the essence of our rums. Distilled from 100% FRESH CANE JUICE and inspired by our SURF LIFESTYLE, it combines all the natural elements of the Caldera Coast.

Pure Cane is designed to be mixed in simple, refreshing ways. Recommended cocktails include mojitos, daiquiris, caipirinhas or classic Caribbean Ti Punch (pronounced TEE punch). To keep it simple, mix with tonic water or ginger beer and a big squeeze of lime.

Made from 100% single estate cane juice rum, infused with natural coconut and a hint of vanilla, Husk Coconut is very versatile, easy to mix with pineapple juice or soda. Husk Coconut makes it easy to shake up Coconut Daiquiris or Coconut Mojitos at home. El Jimador - el Jimador Reposado begins with 100% hand-harvested blue Weber agave, naturally fermented and double distilled. Then it enjoys a two-month siesta in our own handmade American oak barrels until the perfect moment. The poppy is a bright red wild flower, in the subfamily Papaveroideae of the family Papaveraceae. This is a curious, fruity liqueur with a candied characteristic.

Jinzu Gin brings English and Japanese traditions together to create an exciting, intriguing spirit. It's made with a blend of Scottish gin (featuring juniper, coriander, angelica, yuzu and Japanese cherry blossom as botanicals) and sake, which brings a luxurious, creamy mouth feel and a subtle, compelling sweetness to its flavour profile.

Situated on the remote Hebridean Island of the same name, Raasay Distillery was founded in 2014. While the island is no stranger to distilling, Raasay is the first legal distillery to be built there. With fewer than 200 inhabitants, Raasay is a tight knit community, the distillers aim to be at one with the island, bottling on site and employing many locals.

The Raasay Hebridean Gin is distilled in the old way, using malted barley spirit three times distilled in a pot still. Unusually the juniper is harvested on the island itself, complimented by botanicals such as rhubarb root, cubeb, angelica root, and sweet orange peel.

Ocho is the first tequila to designate both the year it was produced and the precise field from which the family grown agaves were sourced. Each batch comes from a differentfield or rancho contributing distinctive characteristics of that place. The blue agave takes about 10 years to grow, so there can be no more tequila from that field for another decade, making each vintage rare and collectible. The Blanco is unaged.
