Blackadder is proud to introduce Aurantia, our pot-distilled gin, handcrafted for us in The Netherlands.

The name Aurantia comes from the Latin Aurantium, found within the citrus family. It is these citrus notes that give the layers of mouthwatering flavour to our gin.

Aurantia is great for a classic G&T, or just poured over ice. This is gin with a bold, yet soft, sweet-and-sour citrus twist. Perfect for cocktails and long drinks.

Aurantia is bottled with the same care and attention we take with all of our spirits. This means no chill filtration and minimal intervention so as to ensure Aurantia is a truly pure and natural gin.

What we have here is a true artisanal liqueur. Alexandre Gabriel, the brains trust behind Pierre Ferrand Cognac and Plantation Rhum, is also a bit of a cocktail geek and booze historian. He wanted to replicate the "old style dry French curacao" that they used to drink. This is a quite incredible liqueur. It's triple-distilled, blended with Ferrand cognac, then aged in ex-cognac oak for a short time to meld the flavours. The ageing gives the liqueur some woody, sea-breeze and lime zest notes.; This is a liqueur of intrigue and subtlety. There is a lot more going on here than just "generic orange liqueur". Vanilla, Mandarin, Old Spice, and sweet Indian spices all mingle on the palate. Sipping this over ice from a snifter wouldn't be out of place, but it's really a mixer. Take your Margarita to the next level, or drop a little in your next Gin and Tonic.

After visiting Cobram Estate during olive harvest, Four Pillars realised olive oil could be a brilliant botanical alongside olive leaf. The aroma, flavour and texture of fresh olive is stunning, and they did a year of trials before finalising the recipe for this gin.

The botanicals include a big base of juniper with a savoury overlay of coriander seed, rosemary, olive leaf, olive oil, bay leaf, lemon myrtle, macadamia, orris root, and fresh lemon and grapefruit. Fresh ingredients were vapour infused while the others macerated in the pot. 

They have used olive leaf and oil from the Picual, Hojiblanca and Coratina varieties. This gin is savoury, textural and bright. Perfect for any Martini - Gibson, dirty, or dry with a twist. For a longer drink try it in a Spanish-inspired gintonic, with rosemary and lemon.

From the lemons of sorrento, an exquisite bitter-sweet liqueur was born.  The Polio family have cultivated the oval variety of lemon, succulent citrus of great value.

Cassissée Creme de Cassis Liqueur 700ml 1PK @

Cassis is the French term for "black currant". Crème de Cassis de Dijon is a liqueur made from black currants. In France, the term "crème" stands for a liqueur with a particularly thick consistency and aconcentrated, full flavor.

"Cassis de Dijon" is a protected designation of origin for a cassis produced exclusively in Dijon, according to the strict regulations of the capital of cassis. Cassis de Dijon must be made from fresh fruit, while cassis from other provenances must also be made with fruit juices, concentrates, aromas etc. In addition, berries from countries outside France must not be used.

The quality of Cassis de Dijon also depends on various important factors: the quality and integrity of the whole fresh fruit, the types of berries used, the level of the Fruit content, the know-how and the cellar techniques of the producer Cassissée (16% vol.) is made exclusively from whole, freshly harvested black currants.

SMELLS: Classic juniper, in an instant. Subtle floral hints of lavender & orange blossom follow close by. Deeper earthy tones of cinnamon bark & nutmeg arrive next, but be prepared for a fresh burst of multiple citrus to linger longer. 

TASTES: Full frontal assault to the palate, a juniper & orange zest mixture. Closely followed by sweet lemon, taking over your entire palate. Minimum heat, minimum burn. Frontal palate flavours dominate, with small floral notes on the back palate. Jasmine and lavender, quite delicious. 

FINISH: A warming numbness with continued juniper. Surprisingly long finish, coming back with waves of orange & mixed floral notes. Dry Gin, at its prime.

Yoowe Bacanora is made in the state of Sonora, Mexico, from maguey Pacifica (Agave Angustifolia), which is also known as Yaquiana locally. The agave is cooked in a traditional underground oven with mesquite and oak. After a wild fermentation, there are two distillations in stainless/copper stills.

This is a spirit that the Yaqui Indians have been making in Sonora for some time. This is really rare. Aromas of pepper, earth and saline. The palate is complex and clean with minerals integrated with spice, notes of salt and mint. The palate is deceptively smooth, and oh so enjoyable!

ABV: 46%

Reminiscent of slow and salty days, this is an easy drinking Gin made for sharing. Native Australian Wattleseed& Pink Peppercorn are brightened with zesty Wax flower, Hibiscus, Citrus peel & a hint of Oyster shell.
