This cr?me de cassis uses the prestigious ?Noir de Bourgogne? variety of blackcurrant which is only grown in the C?te d'Or region in Burgundy. The fruit is macerated in a water-alcohol solution for around 10 weeks to extract the optimum flavour and aromatic intensity.

Sprung from the harmonious marriage of apple juice and Calvados, the Pommeau de Normandie is flaming like autumn in the Pays d'Auge. It is a soft with character. The sweetness of the apple and the calvados aged in oak casks makes it an original aperitif and dessert wine.

Ti Kouka Forest gin showcases vibrant and versatile botanicals native to New Zealand. Inspired by the Ti Kouka tree which is the symbol of Sandymount Distillery this gin includes Kawakawa, Horopito, Tarata, Ti Kouka bark, Harakeke seed, and Manuka.

The genius distillers at Lighthouse Gin have created a unique New Zealand take on the classic London Dry Gin style. They've chosen ?a few interesting native botanicals including Kawakawa, along with fresh New Zealand Yen Ben lemon and Navel Orange zest.

For this, "The Botanist", small-batch, artisanal Islay gin we use nine of the classic gin aromatics; orris root, cassia bark, coriander seed, etc and augment these with a heady harvest of 22 wild, native island botanicals, hand-picked by our expert foraging team from the windswept hills, peat bogs and Atlantic shores of this Hebridean island of Islay.

This truly seasonal and exotic cocktail is then slow "simmer" distilled in our unique and cherished Lomond pot-still, "ugly betty". Betty prefers to work at low-pressure and won't be rushed. 

So our precious botanicals are slowly and gently coaxed into releasing their complex, signature aromatics. This was a unique project for our head distiller, Jim McEwan. Jim says he had to "learn a new dance" with Betty, and none of us knew what to expect from that first, achingly-slow 17 hour distillation. The result: a highly distinctive, complex, floral gin with outstanding finish and impeccable provenance.

Tasting Notes

Due to its superb quality, BarSol Acholado has received many awards in multiple competitions in Peru and around the world, due to its great harmony, balance, and brilliance. On the nose, it presents aromas of ripe fruit with light floral notes intensifying on the palate and complimented with hints of spices and pecans. It ends with a soft and delicate finish.

Many have told my story. But only one has distilled the essence of this place to make poems that run over your tongue. Tales of the harbour told in gin. 

Named for the Hector?s dolphins that swim off Akaroa, Hector?s Gin comes in flavour profiles foraged from Banks Peninsula. Kelp, manuka, thyme, lavender, and lemon myrtle gathered by local foragers are blended with classic botanicals to create a dry gin with a slight minerality on the finish. Superb for mixing or in a G&T.
