Introduced as the flagship Port Charlotte expression produced by Bruichladdich in 2018, this 10 year old single malt from the Isle of Islay is a lip-smackingly smoky number indeed. It's peated to 40ppm, and drawn from a combination of first-fill American whiskey casks, second-fill American whiskey casks and second-fill French wine casks.

Nose: Salted caramel brownie, flamed orange peel, a hearty whack of seaweed.

Vida is extremely mixable.  
Nose:  heightened fruit aromatics, hint of honey and vanilla.  
Palate:  Ginger, Cinnamon, Sandalwood, Banana and Tangerine and roasted Agave with a long, smooth finish.

Del Maguey mezcals are twice distilled and unblended from 100% mature agave Espadin and are produced the original, 500-year old Artisanal, hand-crafted way.  Production is limited to exclusive quantities per year to preserve quality.  There are no chemicals, colorings or additives ever used in any Del Maguey, Single Village Mezcal.

As a 4 year old, little wood is evident in itsflavour. Instead it shows its cereal roots and a foxyquality from its wild yeast strain. This gives Jim Beam White a uniqueflavour not apparent in other Beam products. The colour is a nice, balancedamber, more red than orange. The nose is slightly perfumy. A 2019 addition to the GlenAllachie core range, this 15 year old single malt was treated to a finishing period in sherry casks before bottling. The casks in question were a combination puncheons and hogsheads that previously held Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso sherry. Master distillery Billy Walker described this expression as having an "exceptional balance of the distillery's spirit and the influence of the Sherry casks used during maturation." We'd have to agree.

Nose: Peanut brittle, dates and a big scoop of chocolate ice cream.

Palate: Walnut, raisin, Christmas spices and fresh ginger.

Finish: Coffee, Turkish delight and just a hint of flaky sea salt.
