In 1962, 19 winemakers, determined to demonstrate the high potential of wines from Salento, founded "Cantine San Marzano". The Il Pumo series from San Marzano excel in price/quality. Very drinkable, sufficient freshness and nice fresh fruit. Honest and delicious wines at a great price.
The Il Pumo is 100% Primitivo coming from Salento, Puglia. The vineyards are located approximately 100 meters above sea level. The soil consists of stony, chalky, poor soils, which explains the mineral touch in the wine. Because a cool sea breeze blows through the vineyards of San Marzano at night, this is popular because of the excellent price/quality. A nice glass of wine for a very good price goes hand-in-hand with Il pumo wines.

We endeavour to dispatch orders the next business day, couriers can take 1 to 2 business days to deliver to non-rural addresses and 2 to 3 days to deliver to rural addresses.
Exceptions during December:
In December, please allow 3 business days for delivery. The last day for Christmas orders is Monday, 15th December for all South Island and all rural deliveries, and Wednesday, 17th December for North Island non-rural deliveries. After these dates Regional Wines cannot guarantee delivery before 25th December. Bear in mind that business delivery addresses may be shut from Monday 23rd December as Xmas falls on a Thursday.
