The unusually high content of finest Munich malt turns this dark version of wheat beer into an intensive taste experience: Light chocolate, cocoa and tropical fruit flavours impress first. Then wheat, malt and sparkling roast aroma. Hefe-Weißbier Dunkel is a muscular beer. Unfiltered, strong and nutty. At the same time, smooth and soft to the taste. A great accompaniment for any meal. And it even convinces many true wine fans.

Jazz icon Thelonious Monk is the inspiration for North Coast Brewing's new Belgian-style abbey ale called, appropriately enough, Brother Thelonious. Like a Belgian ?Dark Strong Ale?, the beer is rich and robust with an ABV of 9%.

A pale lager with pleasant floral and spicy hop character. Made in the style of the modern festival beers brewed by Munich breweries for Oktoberfest. Here and Now showcases the flavourful German Pilsner and Vienna malts whilst being drinkable enough to down by the stein full.

Hans and Therese Herzog winery established their winery in Marlborough in 1994 and have since gone on to produce some of the region's most diverse, high quality, small volume wines, including this blend of 50% Viognier, 30% Marsanne and 20% Roussanne, which were fully fermented to dryness in this spicy, peachy, full bodied white. This wine is modelled on the great whites of the northern Rhone in France and the wine takes its name for that region's famous Mistral wind which blows through the valley. 

Extended skin contact and cold maceration provide the colour intensity and flavour in this wine. The Marsanne and Roussanne were fermented together with wild yeasts in 500 litre puncheons then blended with the Viognier and aged in 500 litre French oak puncheons for 18 months. 

The finished wine was bottled without fining or filtration, so is vegan friendly.

This wine has aromas of cassis, ripe dark cherries, toasted spices, and savoury notes. The mid-palate shows fruit sweetness, while generous but fine-grained tannins contribute to a lingering elegant finish.

Vineyard 

Nautilus Clay Hills Vineyard is located on the ridge that divides the Brancott and Omaka Valleys within the Southern Valleys sub-region of Marlborough. The vineyard is divided into 6 discrete blocks with different aspects and slopes and an elevation between 100 and 130 m. Normally picked midway through the Pinot Noir harvest window this vineyard has rapidly become the cornerstone block for Nautilus Pinot Noir where the clay-based soils contribute a silken texture and fine-grained tannins. The vines are trained to a VSP trellis system with a mixture of cane and spur pruning, with a target yield of 1.5 - 2.0 kg per vine.

A limited edition bottling of Scallywag blended malt from Douglas Laing, released in celebration of the company's 70th anniversary. The fact that this expression is a 10 year old blended malt is not a coincidence - in dog years, it would be 70 year old. The cheeky fox terrier on the label even has the monocle to prove it.

46% ABV

The finger limes highlight the Asian spices like coriander and star anise, and are complemented by the fresh ginger. Then turmeric adds weight to the palate and a fresh but earthy quality, not unlike dill.

The resulting gin has lifted aromatics of lime curd, pine needles, and fragrant spices with a vanilla character which pulls it all together. The palate is intense - sweet and juicy - but it is still very clean.

Double matured in ex-bourbon and Spanish oak casks.  Intense and balanced, with a hint of sea air.

Old Pulteney is based in the thriving metropolis of Wick, popn 6777. It's a stones throw from the sea, and is known for its seasidey, coastal flavours. 

This limited edition Arran Single Malt has been specially selected by our Distillery Manager to be bottled at 17 years old. This rare and stand-alone edition shines a different light on our precious Single Malt, aged in a mixture of first and second-fill sherry hogsheads and first-fill bourbon barrels.

We serve our whisky at 46% ABV which means it stands up well to dilution. We never add caramel or strip flavour out using chill filtration.

Jam packed with Citra, Amarillo and Nelson Sauvin, with only Whirlpool and Double Dry Hop additions, this Crazy Hazy has a rich body balanced with tropical Fruit Flavours of Pineapple, Mango and Passionfruit with a hint of Pine and a mild bitterness.

Tropical and mature, with the texture of melted chocolate and one of the finest finishes a single malt can bring, this stunning whisky calls for quiet admiration. Round and velvety, yet developed and fresh. Smoothed over by time, but with a beating heart.

 From the west coast of the USA to the east coast of New Zealand, we bring you the golden gate California common. A style originating during the gold rush era in California, this beer is made using lager yeast but fermented at ale temperatures.

Expect a subtle toasty malt character from the addition of caramel malts, paired with northern brewer hops that bring a moderate herbal bitterness. Finishing crisp and refreshing, yet with a pronounced malt backbone, it will have you thinking you’ve struck gold.

Structure and purity of blackberries, ripe currants and concentrated ripe fruit all intermingle in this beautiful Argentinian red wine. Full bodied and intense with the balance of fresh acidity and ripeness all add up to a great red wine with presence. Drink now or keep for another 9 to 10 years. This wine will last the distance.
