Everyone loves an original. The original song, the original movie, the original sneakers, even. So, we’re bringing back a special limited edition original of our own — Pilsner. Or as it was originally called, Pride of the Plains. First brewed on 16 May 1995, with Saaz D hops (now known as Riwaka), our 2025 reboot has been inspired by the original single-hop recipe. It has the same bold fruit flavours, and notes of passionfruit and lime. Make the most of it, it might not be around again for another 30 years.

A little old oak fermentation adds flesh and weight to this medium sweet style of Pinot Gris, which has rich flavours and characterful spicy white pear aromas. This North Canterbury Riesling has residual sugar between 10 and 20 grams per litre, which is beautifully balanced by fresh acidity which adds purity and tension to this lively wine.

This is made from organically certified grapes grown on the banks of the Waipara River in North Canterbury.

The region's cool nights and hot days add length to the ripening season, which makes it easy to ripen grapes with rich flavours.

TASTING NOTES
Aromas of ripe dark berry fruits dominate the nose with hints of spice and mocha notes in the background add complexity. Rich yet soft tannins form the backbone of this succulent and vibrant Pinot Noir. Spice flavours come through on the mid palate along with ripe dark cherry flavours and underlying savoury notes. This is a superbly balanced, elegant and weighted Pinot capable of ageing for up to ten years.

THE VINEYARD
This family owned and operated vineyard is on an old river terrace at the south end of Te Muna Valley. The stony soils with an underlay of limestone, a gentle north facing slope and exposure to westerly winds produce low volume crops of high intensity.

VINIFICATION
All fruit was carefully hand-picked over two vineyard passes. In the winery we destemmed all fruit and fermented in 3T open top tanks. The wine spent between 21 and 23 days on skins including punching down by hand once a day, before being pressed to French oak barrels. The wine underwent malolactic fermentation in barrel and remained on its lees for ten months before racking, blending and bottling. Indigenous yeasts are used which add to the wine’s complexity in addition to traditional methods of punching down the ferments by hand.

Dry, delicious dark black fruit flavours with a spicy twist in this modern Portuguese red blend of Castelão, Tinta Roriz and Pinot Noir. This is a stunning combo of two local red grapes with one of the world's most popular French red grapes (Pinot Noir). 

Great drinking now and over the next three to four years. Excellent value for money.

Tantric Haze Hazy IPA was brewed to be as tantalizing and as rich of an experience possible. We knew we needed overwhelming fruity aromas so decided to ensure this had a massive double whirlpool hopping followed by a triple dryhopping starting on the first day of fermentation and continuing throughout until our yeasts had given all they could. 

We wanted a soft and supple bitterness that was enough to balance but gentle and forgiving thus we massaged our water chemistry. We didn't want to overpower the aroma and flavour the hops had to give, thus did not add any hops for the bittering into the boil. 

Lastly we needed a yeast that had the power to biotransform the massive hop quantities into a bold rich juiciness. Any element by itself is not standalone worthy but altogether combine into this sensually hazy IPA that we believe will deliver you an experience of love and enjoyment!

7.0 % ABV.

Zundert 8 Tripel is amber/brown in apperance, with aromas of caramel and cinnamon. It has flavours of malt, caramel and hints of toffee with a velvety mouthfeel

Calvados has a unique taste that with barrel aging gives a nice twist to the beer that has been on it. This time a Strong Saison. Expect the characteristic Calvados flavors and aromas such as apple, sweet fruits and oak. These together provide a warming and alcoholic mouthfeel.

13.1% ABV

A unique blend of Belgian Strong Ale and Calvados reveals profound apple and dried fruit flavors, enhanced by a rich body and warm finish. Wood influences and vanilla notes add complexity, while a subtle oak hint provides a lush drinking experience with a harmonious balance between sweet, spicy and refined

12.4% ABV

East Coasts collide and crank it up for this new New England IPA retuned in Scotland. Brewed with oats and wheat and left unfiltered for a hazy appearance and super smooth delivery. Dry-hopped for a full-tilt fruit hit with pineapple, mango and a hint of zesty lime. Low on bitterness, high on haze, heavy on hops.

7.2% ABV

What if you combine a DIPA with Bourbon casks and dry hop it afterwards with Nelson Sauvin? When pouring, the fruity and white wine tones of the Neslon Sauvin immediately meet you. You will immediately encounter the same aromas at the first sip with in the background the tones of the bourbon barrel where vanilla and wood predominate

A few years ago we went to Tampa, Florida to brew a massive Imperial Stout together with our friends at Angry Chair Brewing. 2022 it was time again, but this time it was brewed in Sweden, here is the barrel aged version.

The first sip of this amber-orange-coloured Kellerbier reveals a touch of caramel. Its fresh and fruity aroma is owed to the chosen hops and accompanied by a pleasant bitterness. In combination with a well-balanced malt body this wonderfully mild and smooth beer was created to please both, your tongue and mind. The hops chosen are the rare sort “Hallertauer Record” for bittering and "Hallertauer Perle" as well as “Hallertauer Mittelfrüh” for aroma

Together with Miami’s J. Wakefield, we previously brewed Brush, and in the U.S., Eton Mess Brush was released. Now, we can offer a barrel-aged version of Eton Mess Brush that has been aged in bourbon barrels and barrels from Norwegian Midsummer Hot Sauce.

Often spotted wings-spread on the shoreline, The Shag knows how to stand out-and so does this beer. Much like its namesake, this Hazy IPA is built for the bold. Bursting with tropical mango aromas from Citra and Motueka hops, it delivers a juicy hit with a pillowy soft finish. Unapologetically hazy and expressive, this is a beer that’s not afraid to make a splash. We’ll raise a can to that.
