Nose/aromas: Sweet malt, hints of tropical fruit (banana) and citrus fruits (oranges), suggestions of hops, light minerality.

Flavour: Playful in the mouth, pleasant bubbles, lovely malty attack followed by a fruity and slightly bitter touch, again a hint of minerality, nice dry finish

St-Louis Premium Framboise is based on a lambic and contains juice from Willamette raspberries. The result is thirst-quencher with a low alcohol content. This sweet raspberry beer tastes delicious on a sunny day and is a perfect beer for anyone who doesn’t like strong beers

Kasteel Rubus Framboise is a full-bodied beer with a delicately pearling light pink head. While the ripe raspberries tickle all the senses, a slightly malty undertone appears in the nose. The flavour is a perfect balance of sweet ripe fruits and slightly bitter undertones

The vineyards selected for this wine are Huia Rapaura vineyard and Rose family Kennedy vineyard. 

The grapes were hand-harvested, whole bunch pressed. Juice was racked off to barrels for fermentation  where a warm, fast ferment was encouraged. Base wine underwent full malolactic fermentation. Aged on gross lees in neutral French oak for 14 months. Wine is put on tirage where yeast and sugar is added before bottling. Second fermentation occurred in bottle and the  wine aged on lees for a further 20 months. Hand riddled over 5 weeks and disgorged on 6th December 2021. 

Senses 

Sight: cured salmon pink. 

Smell: Strawberries, cherries and baked bread. 

Taste: Fresh, wild strawberries and strawberry shortcake with a crisp finish. 

Food Matches: Goats cheese platters. Saffron risotto. Proper Crisps with Marlborogh Seasalt

Every year on the 24th of February, the birthday of "Charles the fifth", the Brewery brews the Gouden Carolus "Cuvee of the Emperor" in a limited quantity and with an eye on the highest quality and tradition. This unique brewing, with only extra fine Belgian hops and with a higher alcohol level, guarantees a better evolution in the time, than the already known Gouden Carolus. This beer, as all our beers, is 100 % natural, with no preservatives, no adjuncts and no chemicals. We bottle it in bottles of 750ml and closed with a quality cork. Excellent to store several years.

The Saison Dupont is a top fermentation beer with refermentation in the bottle.

Since 1844, this beer has been brewed in our farm-brewery, during the winter time.
Then this beer became a second refermentation in the barrel.

During the next summer, this very thirst-quenching beer was served to the “saisoniers” which were working on the fields.

Surely, therefore, our Saison Dupont is considered as “the classic” among the Belgian season beers!

Coppery blond, the finest aromas and a strong bitterness transform this beer into a thirst-quencher with no equal, just the way it was created.
Our selection of yeasts is the perfect base for these typical aromas and ditto taste.
A real refermentation in the bottle, which will continue for a long time in your cellar, result into this complex and particular aromatic beer.

The beer has a mild, slightly bitter, ‘hoppy’ flavour and is easy and refreshing to drink. The beer is brewed using only high-grade, certified-organic barley malt, rice and hops. The rice used also has Fairtrade certification. Gluten-free (less than 10ppm).

Rouge Max is a special blend of top-fermented and spontaneous beer, enriched with cherry juices. This beer contains 8% alcohol, which results in a full-flavoured and intense beer with a fruity cherry character and notes of vanilla.

The combination of dark beer with the cherries makes this one a very pleasantly balanced sweet-sour beer.

Just An Illusion drifts somewhere between worlds - a collaboration with our long-time friends at Teenage Brewing in Japan, built on shared curiosity and a mutual pull toward pushing flavour beyond the expected.

Juicy nashi pear leads the way, opening into waves of ripe peach and sweet strawberry that fold and blur into each other with every sip. It’s layered, pulpy, and immersive - a fruit-forward expression that leans into texture as much as taste, soft, full, and an exploration on flavours that are constantly shifting.

La Chouffe is an unfiltered blonde beer, which is re-fermented in the bottle as well as in the keg. It is pleasantly fruity, spiced with coriander, and with a light hop taste.

La Chouffe pours a clear, amber-gold colour, with a giant white head. The smell is strong, with sugar, alcohol and fruit (both dark and citrus) present. The taste is very sweet, with citrus, alcohol, and a biscuity aftertaste. An excellent beer that should not be missed.

Brewing in the old Dunlop Tyre Factory in Upper Hutt, Panhead produce a range of highly drinkable, hop forward, aromatic beers. Port Road Pilsner takes the New Zealand Pilsner style pioneered by Emerson's and Panhead Brewer Mike Nelsons former employer Tuatara and drives it into ever more zesty NZ hop laced territory. Try it with shellfish.

5.2% ABV.

An intriguing and perfectly balanced blend of spices enhances the full bodied, malty character that New Zealand native Rewarewa honey is known for. A truly heavenly combination.

Displaying a wealth of aromatic aromas, the XO Armagnac gives a bouquet of vanilla and prunes with delicate notes of wood and the exclusive nutty taste of rancio. This Armagnac expresses the essence of Maison Delord.
